Track results b16 wagon

Took the wagon to Tristate Raceway in Earlville IA over the weekend. It was test and tune so i got in 14 passes. Best was 15.367 @ 92.78mph on fat fives with crap tires. Drove 3 hours there, beat it down all day and drove 3 hours back. I love Hondas!

Struggled with wheel hop last 2 times at the track. Drove in on 17" tenzos with good tires and i hooked better but was slower on top end so i just practiced launching on the crappy 15s

Ran 15.6s in June so i did some weight reduction, added a front mount, and added neptune. Full throttle shift is awesome and car runs so much cleaner than on crome.

Im swapping out the innovative stock replacement xmember for the innovative competion bar and going back oct 5. Hopin to remedy the wheel hop so i can launch and burnout better, we'll see what happens.

Good info to start with. Keep us updated. You should definitely be able to get those down. I was running 15.3's in my EM1 with basic bolt ons. I've also had a friend go 13.3 with B16 in a gutted hatchback and bolt ons with good tires.

Post up your other numbers... trap, 60', reaction...

I used to spend most of my time at our local track

NICE times!! I ran similar times with my wagon as well! Almost the same set-up! I was launching at 3500 rpm with some super bald all-season SLICKS!:p I'm a bigger dood, and ran a 15.5 but my brother way lighter at the time a buck-fiddy ran 15.4.

I, too struggled with wheel hop like crazy! If you have the funds you should pick up a traction bar, they are just amazing!!! I upgraded to a full-race bar and it's just a night and day difference! Besides the noise it makes it puts the powa to the ground!

I gave up drag racing because I got tired of replacing clutch pedals and cables. haha! The wagon now competes in autox in the SMF class..

Good luck man! Do keep us posted!
