cheers!!
Even the Legend Power Seat works.
As much as I like my wagon as a daily driven, gas saver, grocery getter, and parts hauler, I do have an alter ego.
** sorry guys... I took the picture off***
LUV Rotaries. My FC3S is like the anti-wagon: weekend driver, gas guzzler, no room for anything.
Kinda like the YIN and the YANG.
We all have those alter egos My alter ego only comes out once a week though.
HCWagonistas: Thanks for the warm welcome.
Specs on the FC:
TOO MANY PARTS! I never go cheap on it, all Japan tuner parts.
But basically 350 RWHP @ 12psi on a Street Ported 13BT with a T04S Turbo. Suspension is all completely upgraded as well.
Body kit is GP Sports. Wing and Hood are R-Magic.
This is my 5th FC. 2 N/A's and 3 Turbo-IIs. My other rides include a 2000 BMW E368 Z3 M Coupe, 94 Acura Legend, 95 Subaru BG5 Legacy Wagon, 86 Toyota AE86 Corolla Hatch, 88 Civic EF Hatchie, 89 Civic EF Sedan.
Pretty much always had a Honda for a daily. Wagons are dope tho.
Was very happy with this one, but with a streak of bad luck... big accident 2 years ago, revided it even better, then not a year passed when it then burned down in a shop fire in san diego last year...
Here was the E368
You've gotta LOVE DAT ASS! lol
Too bad I crashed that one... suspension arm broke up front, lost control and hit a curb. Total loss.
A tiny piece of the Z3 M Coupe still exists within the Wagon. The 90degree 3"hose for my intake is from that car. Also, my old Sparco Steering wheel from the red FC is in the Wagon as well!
Were the Legend seats a pain to fit in ?
In hte 4wd at least the rails are at different heights. Are the 2wd's the same ?
They look stock. I double taked! 8)
was a fine beast fo sho 8)
But it was worth it all in all.
The seat bolt points are staggered on the 2WD. I don't think there is a difference between the 2WD and 4WD.
I had to use 2 x 1" square aluminum bars to level out the lower seat bolt points... Did a lot of cutting with a Dremel. It took me a week, 4 hours a day, plus a Saturday to get them in. There was a lot of "creative" solutions used to get them to go in. Came out ok. You sit a little higher, and you can recline really far back if you wanted to. The power on the driver seat works! Forwards, backwards, tilt, up and down. I used the power from the auto seat belt retractor as it is a 30amp power source.
If you know how to weld, it would have been way easier.
I found the seats in a junk yard. When I asked the cashier how much the seats were, she said $30 for non-power and $40 for power (didn't matter if they were leather or not)... I thought it was a no-brainer at that time, i needed better seats, and the Legend ones were super clean at that time.
My inspiration from the leather seats were from newjery
M Coupe was awesome. The TORQUE!!! The low end response! The solidity and lightness of the chassis! Seriously corners like a go-kart and it sits so solid at high speed. I highly recommend that you get one if you can find one, or at least take time to drive it. You've gotta drive teh coupe, not the convertible as the chassis rigidity is like 10 times stiffer. Intake, Shark ECU reflash and that was it for the mods. That's all you need really for that car street driven. If you can get the E368 2001-2002, then you get the Euro motor with 260HP with a true 6 speed transmission. the 98-00 models came with the S52 200HP engine 5 speed.
Thanks for the details I'll keep my eye out

I hope you get it back ASAP!
but seriously everyone, thanks for all the support. I appreciate it very much! m(_ _)m
Surfside, you are in SD so catch them before they enter TJ! lol
SD rocks. I went to UCSD. Loved every second of living in SD.
ZLITES: how to put a front strut bar with a car with DPFI? easy. flip the bar around backwards! that way it passes UNDER all the pipes, wires, and hoses. I had to move the throttle cable just a tad so that it would have more clearance. This way, if the engine vibrates, the cable and connectores don't hit the bar. it's not the ideal position of how a strut tower bar should be mounted, but still makes a little difference.
My guess is that these parts will definitely be gone at minimum, if the car is recovered: steering wheel and hub, radio (useless without the code...), coilovers, wheels, tower bars, intake, header. =( then there is the dizzy, battery, hood and maybe my new windshield...
should have invested in an alarm connected to a secondary power source, at least i would have heard something. seriously, from where i was in the house, to where the car was, less than 20 feet. amazing... i didn't hear a peep.
oh well. -_-
I yelled out, "SIwagon!" but nothing not even flickering break lights(code for what's up, but I'm not stopping up here in the Bay).
I'll keep my eyes open.
i called to just ask, but they basically said that if i don't receive a call, they still have not located it.
i got a letter from city hall asking me if the vehicle has found yet. (you would think they would communicate with the police...) but anyways, they asked me if the car was retrieved yet. if it wasn't, to let them know so that they can add the car on the FBI Black List...
LOL! my wagon will be on the FBI Black List!
Reason: if the car crosses state lines, or if it is involved in any criminal felony, it becomes Federal jurisdiction.
So a word to the wise: (maybe obvious, but i will say it anyways)
If your car is stolen,
Call and report it to the POLICE IMMEDIATELY.
Call and report it to your INSURANCE IMMEDIATELY.
Call and report it to the DMV IMMEDIATELY.
Take the necessary steps so that you will be free from any damages or criminal actions that may involve the car.
