thebody's RT4WD

Finally got my wagon. Before I get into anything else, I want to say thanks to the Civic Wagon community on this site. I trolled the site quite a few times before I decided on my wagon, knowing that all of my questions had answers here. Specific thanks to rti intrac for the owners manual, doitdub for the articles on removing body parts and wagodizzle for the OEM parts list thread.

Now back to the wagon. Its 100% bone stock aside from the shoes and rack. It has the usual parking lot dings and stuff like that and then a dent right at the spot where the passenger side rear door hits the wheel well. Also after reading doitdubs article on hatch removal I realized what had happened to the hatch. The hinges rusted shut and some dolt tried to pry it open bending the top of the hatch. It doesn't quite close right and make a little thud when I shift hard LOL. Did I mention that its a stick! I'm not even through my 1st tank of gas yet so I haven't had a chance to really do much besides order a stereo for it. Overall, its very clean and runs/shifts solid.

I got it for $2400 with 215k on it. I probably overpaid a bit but the RTs are pretty hard to find in anything resembling decent shape.

so now for plans...green plastidip, keep the steelies and no window tinting. Pretty much as is on the outside. I really like the flag on the wagon attack 2 ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q7ZzqBPz4sY ) and might want to try a CB antenna in that sames spot. on the inside...I gotta get rid of all this Lego brown LOL. Donna dig at the yards until I find what I need to go black on all of the plastic. The seats, I'm good with though. I got a scrap door panel for $5 at a yard and am testing different paints on it to see if painting the inside might work. I have had some luck with Rustoleum All Surface on my '74 Blazer interior. I'll let you all know if it works for me. Thanks again for this awesome sight and I hope to have some "after" picks soon.
