New to this forum; Seasoned Honda expert - Greetings!

Hi Everyone, My name's Derek from Baltimore, MD, USA. I've been into the sport compact (specifically Honda) scene since 2001; the year I got my license and bought a '91 CRX Si. Since then, I've been through many vehicles, all of which I have thoroughly loved and learned from.

I'm very well educated and have a Associates Degree in Internet Technology and a Bachelor's in Simulation and Digital Entertainment from the University of Baltimore. Went right to work in a prototype machine shop at Lockheed Martin Corp. right out of college and have since moved into the private sector. I currently am employed at an Aerospace machine shop. I'm a computer software programmer turned CNC machinist turned Quality Control engineer. Been turning wrenches since the dexterity in my hands have allowed me to do so. Been punished several times for tearing apart the family VCR, microwave, etc.

My username over on honda-tech/hondamarketplace is: d.str0y . I've been selling items over there for a long time. Recently, I've been into rebuilding/remanufacturing things. I'm the first person to successfully disassemble, rebuild and offer for sale 4040 brake proportioning valves. They've been impossible to keep on the shelf as MANY folks have been supportive and purchased them from me. I've built several motors, transmissions, a few drag cars, rebuilt a few turbochargers, etc. If it can be serviced, I can service it.

Being a father of two and living an active lifestyle, I was forced to move away from my beloved hatchback-style vehicles. That is where the Wagon comes in. P-E-R-F-E-C-T for my needs. 4-Door, economical, upgradeable, rare. I'm on my second one. The first one was red '91 RT4WD with gray interior, roof rack, MT, SOHC non-VTEC ZC swapped. My current is a brown '91 RT4WD with brown interior, MT, stock drivetrain (for now).

The plans for the immediate future are wheels w/ full suspension (already purchased), turbo Z6 build (in progress), roof rack, etc. I'll start a build thread in the near future to document my progress.

That's about all for my intro. I'm looking forward to sharing the vast knowledge that I've attained over the past 15 years - as well as learning from the community here. Enjoy a few pics of my baby...

-Derek
