Fuel Pump Replacement

I need to the replace the fuel pump, but when I opened the gas tank cover under the bench seats, I found nothing. 5.png Besides this, of course. Which looks like a pile of crap if you ask me. Where do I go from this? Do I have to drop the tank? 1991 2wd.

    Yes, you must drop the tank. What you uncovered in the center is only the fuel gauge sender.

    Okay, thanks man. This fuel issue has become a big pain in my ass.

    USDM 2WD = no access from the top
    USDM RT4WD = access from the top
    JDM 4WD/2WD Carbie = no access from top
    JDM 4WD/2WD Injected = access from the top
