The progress has been a lil slow lately because I was chasing an overheat problem after installing AC. After a week of spending to much money and endlessly searching for the reason for the overheating, I changed the thermostat, head gasket and finally radiator. It was a strange problem I wasn't loosing coolant and there was no oil mixing with it either. There was no leaks and I bled the system 10 times to no avail. So I thought "thermostat", changed it bled the system and no difference. It would only overheat after about 15 min of driving and after bleeding it again I kept seeing bubbles so I thought "yay head gasket". We found what looked like a very slightly leaking head gasket. Replaced it and sure enough after 15 min of driving it started to overheat. Ready to throw in the towel I pulled the radiator the next morning and flushed everything and put the radiator back in. NO Difference. At this point I was ready to shoot the car! Once the car cooled down I pulled the cap off, drained the radiator 1 more time and looked inside. Suddenly all at once it made sense. There were literally NO holes for the coolant to go through. They were so clogged and corroded there was no where for the coolant to go. So to the auto store I went, $86 later I had a new radiator. Once I looked inside the new radiator it was more than obvious the old one was done. So I installed it, Bled it and BAM! perfect. Yes I feel stupid but I learned some things. The Wagon has been affectionately named "the wife" as my neighbors call it so I think it fits.
