h22a shuttle build!

Hi all

So I am wishing to begin this swap into my 1992 shuttle, quite a change from the d13b, would anyone be able to shed some light and help me out with the obvious things to change, aswell as any tips?
Also, with the correct engine mounts this should fit in gearbox and all? Right?

Thanks

I just finished an h2b swap in my 91 wagon. There's a couple ways to go about it.

    I'm running an h22z1 from a 2001 prelude SE, QSD h2b kit and a built S1 trans.
I can't comment on a full h swap but I do know that both frame rails need work to fit the full h. With h2b you only have to modify the drivers frame rail to make it fit.
I went with a single belt f20 crank pulley and a custom alternator bracket with the d alternator, Ground the back of the block to clear half shaft and axle, cut/ Rewelded the stock h22 exhaust manifold to clear (h2b tilts the motor forward).

As for wiring I bought a running wrecked prelude and swapped the entire body harness, my car is now completely obd2 and showing no codes when I plug a scanner in. Doing this route my engine fired right up as if it were stock.
I had to change headlight/tail light connectors and brake switch tho. The engine itself has kstuned balance shaft delete, kstuned version 2 tensioner and a new belt.
If you do an h swap you'll absolutely love the torque!

OP, search on NZHondas for Frosts H22a EF Build thread, its a very good engine swap.

There is a lot of info about this swap available, especially if you ignore the fact its a shuttle, treat it as any EF as the swap is essentially the same,
