ZC engine
piccos4-1
Band Wagon
I have a '91 Dx which has a ZC engine in it. I'm sure everyone knows that the Dx models were 1.5L engines and that the ZC engine is a 1.6L. I just found out about this while installing a new timing belt. My question is whether the Dx computer is affecting the performance of the ZC engine or is it not an issue. I'm new to this so any info would be greatly appreciated.

1. Which ZC?
-DOHC
-SOHC and Non-Vtech or Vtech
*this might help you identify what you have:

2. Is your car Multi-point injection swap or are you running the Dual-point stock injection?
3. What ECU is in your car?
- PM5?
If they used the SOHC ZC non-vtech block for a swap, just to replace a bad engine. And your running a PM5 ECU and Dual point injection. Then you really limiting your engines performance. A SOHC ZC non-vtech is basically a D16A6(or CRX Si, Civic Si, Civic Ex & Civic Wagon RT4wd Motor) but setup for a little better performance.
So.... Let us know a little more detail on what you have and snap a few pictures of your engine and engine bay and we'd be happy to help you figure it out.
Also don't forget to make an introduction page about your wagon.... Nevermind... Just found it (maybe get some pics up though)
And lastly, Welcome!
So, your tune for a D15 would be slightly off.
On your ECU under the carpet where the passengers feet go. on the ECU you should see a sticker with codes.
Pics of your engine bay would help.
