So I originally, I had my 91 white wagon. Traded it for my 95 explorer swapped in a rebuilt d15b2 into it and got coilovers put on it, stereo, header etc. Anyway, my gf wanted one really bad so we started looking.

We found this one on craigslist. Id seen it a few months prior for $3k. But now it was $1500? So I called and talked to the guy. He told me hed ran it with no oil and it started knocking (it had an ls on it at this time). So we settled on $1100 and we brought it home :) so we now had an already b swapped wagovan with tons of extras included. Needless to say I was stoked..

Now the white wagon is an automatic. So I basically just traded straight across to my gf. She bought this one for me and I gave her my white one.

I found a b20b with a fully built brian crower head and used the built ls tranny that came with the car. took me and my 3 friends about 10 hours to pull and swap it. It had minor hiccups but once it was running it ran DAMN good!

Ive had the car for roughly 2 months now. It sat for one of them while I gathered funds for the b20b swap. Its been running for about 3-4 weeks now with no issues at all.
This thing is torquey and has plenty of power up top as well. I am REALLY happy with ot thus far.

This is only the beginning.

  • Very nice. Why don't you just pull that Ls block and build it?

Also, lol @ Kermit that's awesome

    The thought crossed my mind.

89mm stroke + VTEC head + tons of boost = WIN

Especially since your gonna build the block anyway! You got the best b series block in the wagon already lol. no point buying one that isnt as good.

  • Im seriously In love with these Momo Qausars and Megan one piece coilovers. Ohh annnnd I locked the keys in it today
    By accident.

    (keyless entry malfunction lol)
  • That shift boot is rad!
  • Thanks :) id have to agree with ya. Haha.

theres still alot to be done.

I need to install the fogs and sidemarkers, traction bar and rear cargo cover, I wanna find a roof rack, probably a subaru one. I dont feel like paying 300 bucks for a yakima.
I still need a street tune done on my ecu also.

tint and a sub are in my near future as well.
  • does anyone know how to make my rear bench seat recline? its stuck in one setting that isnt very comfy.
I keep hearing that its the way it suppose to be and that only one year of the wagovan had the reclining bench? and thoughts??

    Update.

The EF cruise is this weekend! i hope to see you PNW guys there!!

need to get my hands on a damn dremel and drill.. so i can get these fogs and markers on..
as well as my traction bar.

cant wait to get paid so I can affors to get supplies for my wires tuck and to repaint my trim as well.

and it also my exhaust is ONE piece... header back. it was quite the feat getting the motor swapped in when ya cant remove the exhaust... but we did it! lol

so i now have to take it to my buddy and have him chop it up so I can put my dc header on it.

the B20B is running like a champ too by the way :D so much torque and top end. and fun...
  • I love how yours is an actual "wagovan" instead of just a civic wagon like most! That is super cool! I love everything you have done on it and kook forward to seeing more! That cargo cover is gonna look sick ;)
  • You also forgot to mention your super sexy jail bars on the rear side hatch windows! Super awesomeness.
  • OMG.... you have the locking e-brake handle! Dude, you scored big time on this find.... The actual "wagovan" is the most basic model yet it came with some of the sickest, rarest features!!

Thanks man! I know I love it so much. I definitely scored big time.

When I went to see it, it took everything I had not to laugh hysterically. Lol.

It was already b swapped, had great suspension and wheels and exhaust and was super clean inside and out. (Minus the driver seat. Its thrashed)

For $1100 I couldnt let it go.

i want to keep it as oem as i can, but still give it a custom twist. I feel like im on the right path. So much more to come.
