Custom 2wd exhaust.

I've had a whole lot of different exhaust setups on my car.
- oem (quiet, no flow)
- oem with magnaflow muffler (loud and raspy)
- 2" with cherry bomb resonator and magnaflow resonator. cat removed and exhaust routed straight back over the rear subframe (very loud, awesome flow)
- oem DA exhaust chopped up to fit, cat replaced with magnaflow resonator. (almost oem quiet, but at the smallest point was 1.6" diameter, no good for flow)
Now, the 2wd wagons are very unique in the fact that they have a HUGE tunnel for the driveshaft to run to rear diff... what f'ing driveshaft! I had always wanted to do this setup but never had the means, and couldn't find a muffler that i found quiet enough, with decent flow.
- magnaflow resonator (supposed to be stainless, but in canada, everything seems to rust) in place of cat, straight to a Thrush Turbo muffler (2" in/out), center inlet, offset outlet. It's 3" thick and 7.5" wide, oval. A perfect fit in the tunnel. Enter the side dump. Exhaust is now routed out the side INFRONT of the passenger side rear wheel, slant tip. The sound is a low tone, but at no point do i get the terrible tin can/raspy shit sound that i can't stand. I also wanted something that was going to free up weight and room around the rear suspension, mainly the swaybar I find that with my d16a6, DC header, this is the best compromise of dB's and HP. Plus it weighs at least 15lbs less than the previous setup. Those oem flanges, muffler, and resonator are quiet heavy. Some of the old DA setup was dual walled as well, so very heavy. The ground clearance seems great as well.

I was also considering the cherry bomb vortex, but the rest of the exhaust will be 2" and it's 2.25" not sure if I want to bother with that, or how that would sound. But might do it just cause I haven't seen anyone else, so it would be good to note.
