The above table identifies that the generations of Wagon do not line up with the generations of the hatchback due to the 4th gen Shuttle being so popular in Japan.
For the 5th gen Wagon, nothing was produced for the North American market. The European and Japanese markets got different iterations of the Civic Wagon; the Aerodeck and Orthia (respectively).
The 6th generation Wagon was simply a hatchback with two additional doors - the wheelbase was not altered and therefore it is debatable as to whether it is in fact a "Civic Wagon".
There will be a 9th generation Civic Wagon in the form of the Civic Tourer, a concept car which will soon released into production.
