Quiet exhaust solutions.

I briefly ran a magnaflow resonator with no cat and straight out the back over the rear sub-frame. zero bends. i am 2wd, no driveshaft to worry about. There is a hill that i drive up almost daily and I was able to hit 120kmh up that hill. It's a benchmark hill for me on a lot of fronts.
Alas, it was WAY to loud for me, and I put a rear sway bar on, so the rear section was in the way now.

I hacked up a DA teg exhaust and made that fit, now it's quiet, the magnaflow resonator in place of a cat.
Alas, now i struggle to hit 115kmh. and i've added a y8 manifold since.

What can I do to get the power back and keep it sounding QUIET? Slightly louder than oem is fine, i understand ditching the cat will do that regardless of what muffler i run. I was thinking of just using an OEM honda exhaust and chopping it to fit again, just something with bigger diameter piping, like a new civic si. Surely it would flow better. the stock wagon exhaust is tiny, the da is slightly bigger, the straight magnaflow setup matched the exit size on the DC header. 2" or 2.25" i believe. I want to try and make a muffler fit in the massive tunnel where a driveshaft would be on an rt, and run it fairly straight out the back again with a little bend to clear the sway bar. I've always hated the sideways EF / DA muffler design.

Engine:
d16a6
intake/dc header/da exhaust/obd1/y8 mani

any opinions are welcome. and no, i don't have money for the hks setup.

i really hate the sideways can as well. and with a RT it makes it even more difficult. 3" just wont ever happen especially with a rear sway. that sideways muffler needs to be so super flat. even on stock suspension i scrape mine occasionally

I'm planning on adding much longer vibrant resonators between the header/downpipe and rear subframe to keep it quiet. then hopefully pipe it straight out and be ok. will probably still need a muffler though.
