85 & 87 Wagon Clutch

Hello: I have given up on the 85 4wd wagon. Blown engine. I had put a weber on it because I lived in a county with no smog checks as long as you do not sell the car. Well, I moved and I will not be able to smog it. I found a 87 RT4wd Wagon in great shape. one owner, 58K miles. Just needs a new clutch. Will I be able to transplant the clutch from my 85 to the 87? Same 6 speeds, super low. Thank You Mike

    Napa says no.

    87 clutch set part number is: NCF 1108015
    85 clutch set part number is: NCF 1108005

    But maybe someone with more experience with the 3rd gen could elaborate for you?

    Thanks for the reply. Confusing, but I came up with both being 1108015. They are both 1.5l engines.
