Newest member of the family: 1991 Brown 2wd

Okay so a few months ago we bought another civic wagon.
It looks like we are going to keep it for a long time, So I better make a build thread for your enjoyment! :encouragement:

We bought it for $600.
She had a blown head gasket.

We figured we would dump some water in and try and drive it home....

Here is two pictures of the wagon on the way home from buying it:

So about 3 weeks ago I got the new motor in!

All the oil seals and T-belt and water pump were also done on the motor by Nick.

I also replaced allot of parts while I had the motor out, Here is a list of some of the parts!

    -Radiator
    -Plugs and wires (Honda)
    -Axle seals (Honda)
    -Rear main seal (Honda)
    -Powder coated valve cover
    -Coolant hoses and heater hoses
-Front and Rear motor mounts (Honda)
    -Hood Prop Holder :) (Honda)
    -New battery

On a side note, The wagon has an after market A/C System. it was installed in 2002'. That's why you see two funky hoses ran up by the firewall.. I'm not sure if we are going to keep it or not??

I also kept the stock Duel-point intake manifold, Just to keep things stock and simple and get this thing on the road!

    Here's the Valve Cover:

Since the motor has been in, I have had to adjust the timing, other than that she runs great! very strong. Danica (My Wife) has put about 1,000 miles on the car since. and is getting 32-3 mpgs. She loves it so much her 2004 VW Golf is now on craigslist :)

I gave the wagon a simple cut and polish then a good wax.

Also a aftermarket Ebay hood bra!
