My 1989 Wagon!

Bought this baby back in late 2011, so excited!

Short history: I grew up practically living in a garage.(not literally!) My dad was always working on some project that had to do with cars. At first, I wasn't too interested in what he was doing, for it all seemed very stressful due to the great deal of cursing and violence he projected. (I now understand why, haha!) I didn't understand why he was so absorbed in these scraps of metal, and I wasn't about to understand. One day, that changed. I was introduced to a man by the name of Phuong, (Hint: Wingz) and he was taking everybody out in his car. Big deal. I sat in the rocks and watched as he came and went, swapping people each time he came back around. My dad came up to me and asked if I wanted a ride in Phuong's car, and I shrugged my shoulders not really giving a damn.
[Today, nobody would have to ask me if I want a ride; I'd already be in the driver's seat! ;)]
I still remember the rush, and the insane amount of G's I felt as I saw the road reflectors fly past the windows. I was hooked.
Shortly after that night, Dad bought a 1989 CRX. (The original Y49, no curse here!) I was right by his side when he was cranking down on it, every time. I still didn't understand why stuff like this took so much time and effort, but I knew that this CRX was the key to feeling that exact same rush again. Year after year, the CRX was still there. The older I got, the faster it ran. I began to fill my head with possible projects, CRX mods, future cars, and engine plans. That CRX was (and still is) a huge part of my life. I was completely absorbed, and I loved it.

The CRX is still here...

After being around Honda's my whole life, I knew exactly what I wanted for my first car. A CRX. My dad knew, he did. I made sure of it! I caught him looking at these wagons, all beat down and ugly-looking, and I was nervous. I didn't want to be made fun of for having one of THOSE things. One day after school, me and the whole fambam went out to east PHX and bought a wagon. I have to admit I was being a little selfish at first, and I despised it. I went to bed angry at everybody. I woke up the next morning and sure enough, we really had bought one, for it was sitting in our driveway. I realized there was a whole packet of paper sitting on my bed, and each page was filled with different images of wagovans. They looked nothing like the ones I saw on Craigslist, and they looked good. Next thing i knew, I had all kinds of plans running through my head; I was obsessed. My wagovan was going to be the next CRX. A new project.

The wagon still has a stock D15B6 engine w/no mods at all.
FWD, automatic. (Conversion in the near future)
Two KC Road lights, which are used on the streets of PHX at night. The roads are unbelievable.

I currently don't have a job, so all (if any) of my funds go to gas and replacement parts.
At this point, I'm really not making much progress on the car. Once mid-2014 hits, I will have more time and money to start the real mod's.
Stick around. IG: @twisted_turbo
