It's been awhile since I've posted on here but lost the passenger side strut. Replaced the front struts and car rides like a dream.
What was the issue it was having before? Mine makes a knocking noise only on the front passenger side of the car when I go over a bump. It drives me crazy, but doesn't seem to affect driving. I would like to fix it though. My father thinks it is just the bushings on the top of the shock, I'm not sure. Any thoughts or advice?
I had no issues before I lowered it. Shock just took a crap on me. Car looked like it had hydraulics with the passenger side front slammed as far as it could go.
So in between all the rain, I have been attempting to pull the single. All I got left is to pull the axles, unbolt the exhaust. and unbolt the mounts and it should come right out.
Also if you cant tell in the picture, at one point in time a battery has exploded. Also the last owner didn't wash all the battery acid off so I found hole in the frame rail. Not what I wanted to find.
Now that I am back on 8 hour work days, maybe Ill have it swapped and back on the road by this weekend. I ran out of time today but all that's holding it in is the head mount and the trans mount.
So I drilled the hole for the clutch cable, replaced the dpfi throttle cable with a 92 integra cable, and depinned the square dizzy plug and repinned the circular plug. Nothing picture worthy.
Car has been in complete stand still right now. Trying to by a house and working 12 days straight has completely drained my energy and bank account. Long weekend coming up so maybe I'll be posting pics of it completed soon.
So its been almost two months since Ive given an update. Car is still incomplete. My home loan got approved so Im in the middle of moving everything to my house. Couldnt wait to see a car in my shop so I parked my S2000 in there just for motivation to get the wagon moved so I will complete it.
Got it up on ramps and got fuel lines hooked up and water lines. Now to get my 4 to 1 header on. Also picked up some skunk 2 springs. Should be able to try and crank it tomorrow.
Had all intentions of cranking it up today but kind of hit a road block around 1am this morning. Fan on my ac unit locked up, so I spent all morning hunting down a place that sells fans for a house ac unit. Maybe tomorrow Ill get it started.
Damn wagon is fighting me hard. Found two busted hoses late last night. Good thing Is all i have left to do is pin in all the extra wires into the ECU plugs.
