in need JDM parts info and info on EF bumper swap.

I've researched and researched and read a couple of old topics from the beginning of Jan 07.

First of all. JDM side moldings with the red pinstripes. I believe of you said all it is, is just the red pinstripes, but I looked closely at it and it actually is a different side molding to the stock USDM ones. I've checked on hondadealerparts.com as well as slhondaparts. But none of the have the JDM side moldings. Any other websites or people selling the JDM side moldings?

Second of all, I bought my EF bumper and took off the foam part of my stock bumper. (suggested in one of the EF bumper swap forums) and installed the EF bumper. No pics up, but there's a gap where the headlights sit. Is that suppose to happen or did my geniusself ruin my bumper?

Third and last, once I fix (hopefully) my bumper, will I be able to fit EF headlights?

Thanks for the time on reading this forum. I'm just a noob wagonist trying to be one of few here in the Bay Area,CA to have a nice looking wagovan

  • Can't help you with the bumper issues, but EF headlights are the same as EE Wagon headlights..

remember, the EE bumper is different than the EF bumper. we've got a filler part that EFs dont. that's probably where you're running into a problem

and as kahuna mentioned, the EE lights are the same for any EF, just stay year specific

no not ANY headlights, well, MOST just not the Si-R....

ok, i am actually only like 80% sure on what i said but errr from pics and stuff i am pretty sure the Si-R headlights wont work...(oh, and the JDM one-piece sedan headlights wont fit without custom bodywork..)

As long as they are not the one-piece item from a JDM Sedan SI then you should be fine.

I've read on a forum around here, that you can use the filler off the EE. Due to work and school, I only have a few hours at night to actually due any work to my car. So I haven't really tried to use the stock filler. But I'll let you guys know how that goes.

    Thanks for the tips

I used the EE filler piece with the JDM EF9 Bumper. I think I drilled/enlarged some of the filler piece screw holes so it lines up with the jdm bumper support bolt holes.

You might want to check out n1concepts.com for the jdm side moldings. They're in San Francisco.
