My 1991 Civic Wagon - Pictures inside :)

Band Wagon
The other day I bought a 1991 base model Civic Wagon. I bought it for 2,000. The interior is very clean for its age, the chassis has 228,000 but the engine and transmission only have about 50,000. It has a recent clutch, distributor, tires, and spark plugs. The thing runs great. Here are some pictures.
My plan is to clean the car up like new. Re-paint trim, bumpers, etc.. and fix up all the little things.
The car is on cheap ebay suspension that is shot, and I am looking for a new suspension set up that is inexpensive. I don't care about track use or anything like that, I just want a comfortable everyday driver. I found oem stock replacement struts (kit of 4) for 120, but can't find stock coil springs. Anyone know where I can find stock springs or ones similar to stock for a bargain price?
Thanks guys and I will keep uploading pictures as I work on this car.

So far the wagon has been awesome to drive. I love how the front of the car is slopped and the windshield is huge, makes visibility awesome. I don't even see the hood of the car when I'm driving, just road.
Also I have continued to search online but can't find a good affordable suspension set up. I would like to keep it under 400, but everything I find either says it does not fit a civic wagon, or it is designed to drastically lower the vehicle, which I do not want to do. So if anyone out there knows of where I can get a full suspension set up that fits a civic wagon at an affordable price that would be awesome. (I cant even find any sort of stock/replacement struts and springs for wagons anywhere online...)
Replace your shocks with CRX shocks, you'll probably have no problem finding these..
As far as full suspension kits for under 400$ go, over here in europe you can buy (shitty) coilovers from about 300$. But I really think your best bet is to get some for a CRX.
As for suspension you should get tokito (i believe thats the spelling) blues (different lines , blue/red/white) for 88-91 covic with eibach / tien / h&r lowering springs for 88-00 civic and you will have a great ride with a nice height, extended top hats would make it that much more comfortable

I heard they are good for the price, and they are suppose to lower 1.5 inches from stock height. Seems like a good deal to me, anyone advise against it?
Would 1988 CRX shocks fit a wagon, or does it have to be 89-91?
88 rears only fit 88 (different lca) but the front works but heres a cheap brand of coilovers http://www.racelandus.com/coilovers/honda-coilover-kits/honda-civic-crx-coilover-kit.html the only thing to make those work is a EG front fork
So this cargo cover came with my wagon. I have never been one to use cargo covers so I took it out of the car. Can anyone tell me what this is worth? I'm thinking about putting it up for trade/sale. Thanks.
Also I just got in the mail a spray-paint kit by duplicolor that is the same color code as the car. It also came with a can of clear coat and wax. I will be sanding my hood down this weekend and re-painting it. I will post before/after photos so you can see the results. I know it wont be perfect quality but the current paint on the hood is really faded.
Also I got new springs, and struts are in the mail. Hopefully in the next week or two me and a friend will be installing the new suspension. I love the look of a lowered wagon but I'm really looking forward to getting the car back to stock height. I'm actually using da integra springs which I think will raise the back of the car a little over stock...we will see lol
Here is a before shot of my hood.
And here is an after shot I took the next day after I washed the car. Overall I like the hood a lot more than before.
Also I bought a cheap set of rubber floor mats from walmart and cut them to fit the wagon nicely. I think it cleans the interior up a bit.[/URL
Here's the one I did!
Also, I got my new suspension on today. Took waaaay longer then I though it would. Took 6 hours, haha. Well the spring compressor I was using was to big and bulky for the springs, so we had to swap it for a different one. And then it took forever to figure out how to compress the springs enough to fit it on the struts. It was just a really awkward job. And then on the rear one of the bushings was torn up so we had to run to the store to replace that, and then when we finished the rear but had crazy camber. Then I realized the previous owner put washers in the rear upper arm thing for when the car was slammed, so we took those out and now the car sits right. The car feels like it sits so high now. I think it is about an inch taller in the rear and about half inch taller in the front compared to stock wagon height. But the ride feels amazing! And I have a lot of ground clearance
It seems a little bit higher than stock, but I'm not too sure. I certainly have a lot of ground clearance though.
can you take pics of them on the car too.
it looks a bit higher than stock. but mine was higher in rear with oem setup by almost 2"
nice looking wagon too. i love those hx wheels
Thanks man! The suspension came off a DA integra, I will try to get some pictures of the suspension soon. Yeah I figured it was probably slightly higher than stock, and although it may of lost the cool factor of being lowered, it is so much more practical to be up off the ground a bit.
New pictures to come soon.
Also does anyone know where I can get a stock replacement bushing set? All the ones I find online are aftermarket polyurethane ones...those any good, or too hash?
