Finally bought some more tools (Sears online black friday deals FTW!) and was motivated last night... got the element bull bar on!
It seems to stick out a tad more than what I expected..few inches but not really that bad. I may take it in and have it welded so its more flush/sturdy. I dunno...
I also found the OEM EF mudflaps in my garage at home..clearance on the front would be a little close with the big tires..dunno if I like the look of them or should I sell em and get more of a rallyarmour style.
My pass side axle went on me recently while driving on a jeep road. Popped outta the tranny and was also about shot... those DA teg axles are a bit too short for a lifted wagon. I really need to figure out what to put in there so im not going through axles every few thousand miles or whatever. Pretty annoying!
Otherwise the car has been geat. Recently fit 4 mountain bikes and 4 people in it hahah
Took a gamble on the autozone RT axles since I had a giftcard. They are def longer than the DA axles. So far much better driving them...hopefully they actually hold up for a long time.

My engine on the other hand...not so much. Cylinder #1 isnt doing anything so its blown in some way. I dont have the time to rebuild so I just ordered a DOHC ZC long block to drop in. Hopefully I will get this thing running soon..its been down for a few months now and its driving me crazy not having a working and reliable car.
Well I dropped the ZC in and it was running fine for about 400mi and then today while driving in the mountains I lost some power and noticed it being a bit more noisy. Got off the highway and it def sounds like some rod knock..parked it and pulled plug wires individually and the noise stops when pulling the plug wire on the cyl closest to the dizzy. Any recommendations or ideas of things to check if it's something else see appreciated. I'm so pissed..I can't catch a fucking break with this car. At this point I'm about ready to cut my losses and sell the damn thing.
Got everything squared away with M's JDM motors..great customer service. They paid for me to take it to a shop and get it fixed. Was more valve/timing issue than anything..rod bearings looked like they were going bad so we replaced those too. I am still planning to sell the car though..I am in the process of buying a house I need to get some more funds for the downpayment.
