Could you guys please point me in the direction of this U joint?
I think I'm perhaps suffering from terminology problems, but I really dunno wtf you are talking about and I'd rather lke to check it out and make sure I've got no problems in this location!
Not to offend, rather give you a direction where to go!
You could sit a girl on a floor between frnt/rear seats on a tunnel where the propeller shaft is running. If she gets and orgasm, then you know you have a vibration problem in your RT4WD wagon!
There are other methonds of testing, but those we touch bases with when you complete the one above!
Cheers!
The Chihuahua is the smallest breed of dog in the world and is named after the state of Chihuahua in Mexico, where it was discovered in 1850. The American Kennel Club registered its first Chihuahua in 1905.
Chihuahuas are best known for their large eyes, their large, erect ears, and for being the smallest of all dog breeds.

hahahahahaa i just read this, dont know how i missed it. ROFL
where can i find one of these girls? im not sure where they are stocked and supplied. can anyone help me out here?? :?:
I got an update on my quest to get it fixed. Finally got to the third shop (they specialize in driveshafts) because the first two didn't want to do it. He said there is an off the shelf flange close to ours that he could incorporate into both ends of a shorter driveshaft (which would then have off the shelf replaceable u-joints). It would then require a adapter on both ends of the driveshaft that would need to be machined. He said the driveshaft would run $300ish plus I would need adapters to be made. He spent probably 15-20 minutes on the phone with some other people about it and measured the joint but said this it the best possibility.
I'm currently debating whether this would be worth it (it would), or if I should try to find a used one with lower miles on because I'm cheap and poor. I suppose that we could possibly get multiples of this all produced and spread out the love unless someone comes up with a better idea. I'm thinking that it will be $500ish til its all said and done.

Hang tight my friend - I am in process of finding out if my EVEL plan works.
The shops that declined the work are the HONEST shops!
I got burnt by an incompetent shop now I am trying to work it out.
I've mesured stuff and just waiting for new set of u-joints!
Hang tight - we might have a solution!
Cheers!
^^sweet^^ It is actually a competent shop that came very recommended, but I was still sorta scared of his plan. Mostly because the adapters might not be balanced perfectly, and it costs a lot. I'm currently trying to find a good used one with lower miles so I can have 4wd until one of you geniuses figures out a better way.
im such a lazy ass my driveline is still sitting in the same spot its been in at the shop for like 2 months i guess with the CRX barried i have no ambition to work on it.....

LOL, I had trouble with this word as a child so I know the answer...
The correct spelling is chihuahua.
