a6/y8 in 91 Automatic RT

Hey guys need some help. My head gasket has gone bad on my wagon, so i figured why not just do a mini me in this case. I have an extra y8 head that I plan to put on. What else do I need to make this work on my automatic RT? should I use the a6 dizzy, TB, IM, and run a rpm switch or do is it possible to go obd1?

    So it looks like I may be able to stay obd0 if I run a ps9 ecu(have it chipped) and run the one wire vtec. Has anyone run a mini me on their automatic that can provide assistance?

    to answer all ur questions

    use a y8 head gasket
    get arp y8/a6 head studs
    the a6 dizzy bolts right up, plus the only one u can use
    use the a6 tb and im, use a y8 gasket
    u CANNOT swap to obd1 and be auto.... obd1 swaps are manual only
    u can run a rpm switch or like i do, a push button....

    Just few more questions? what ecu are you guys using? stock ecu? and did this swap affect the torque converter in anyway? hows the mpg?

    I'm using stock ecu, can't tell any thing different with the torque converter and Idk MPG cuz I put a walbro 255 in mine for boost and 5 speed swap

    How did it run with the apexi vafc? I can get one for cheap so I may go this route. Did it run rich with the vafc or where you able to adjust that?

    nice, sounds good. quick question? what timing belt did you use? I heard the belt is really tight and hard to fit. I heard to use the d15b7. I plan on also replacing the water pump aswell. Not sure if I can use the d16a6 pump or use the y8.

    Eroc85 use the a6 water pump d15b7 belt . I did and runs like a champ
