    After 2 weeks:

picked up a hood bra, blue floor mats, some hubcaps, found and fixed windshield leak, and fixed the headliner.
    1103.jpg

Before: well after i had pulled all the fabric down that was still attached. sunroof had big gaps the fabric just hanged between so I used some styrofoam insulation to make a headliner

Been a little while since I got on here. Been working hard making money and my daughter is due any time now!

    Updates:

Picked up a passenger side mirror off a buddies shell with the interior trim.

Decided to tint the windows at 5% instead of having the baby shade things for my daughter. Never really been a fan of tint but I am happy with how it came out.

Full ignition replaced from plugs to rotor button as well as vc gasket and tube seals.

Pulled the orange pieces out of the factory signal lights and plan to pickup some amber led.

Had the ac tested and looks like my compressor has bit the dust.

As I said up top^ "Decided to try a budget diy coilover setup" and try I did but looks like my ~250$ setup will not cut it (who would of guessed that).

I need something lower for the rear so looks like Ill have to get a koni/gc setup or some full body coilovers. If anyone has some for sale send me a PM

Also in the search for a clean front bumper cover.

Ill add that wheels are temp. Really liking some ssr reverse mesh style wheels such as Riken mesh or some og maybe even some basket weaves.

These are drag slips or whatever they call the drag version.

  • Lookin good. Wish there were more wagons in Knoxville. I go to a car meet on Friday nights and I'm the only wagon, and usually the only EF.
  • Joel_xxx's wagon in the first shot looks like it should be from a brochure. Body is in perfect shape.

Im Back again. Changed a few things for the wagon.

Couple months back I made these rear top hats and the ride and strut travel is oh so nice. its 6" high from mounting plate to top. Koni's slide right up inside the cabin.

I had a bad steering shake and clunki'ness and ended up replacing the rack and buying new outer tie rods and it made everything so fluid and smooth.
While I was under my car i noticed rust and pin holes in the oil pan so it came out got welded up and painted + installed with new gasket of course.

I had my slips painted high gloss black (not rattle can) and wrapped them in brand new hankook venitas v2 and some cheap neochrome lugs for the hell of it

    ?ui=2&ik=c79aba31bf&view=fimg&th=1459f629f962d11f&attid=0.1&disp=inline&realattid=f_huh9njwp0&safe=1&attbid=ANGjdJ-roduXy8Mwo_2edAmWAbvbI9ZpADQm07vE7NJR9LRnxoRwHW8DOShhFH_ZhbO7UBeA9g_wEwec-qfMEYaNRirUZjTHOHh6Kz0Qv-jHnNfWgxZeKM0Ab7qz-a0&ats=1398538412865&rm=1459f629f962d11f&zw&sz=w1808-h818

I picked up some 8k Hids and a cspeed rep front lip and Im very happy with the fitment.

    754.jpg

    755.jpg

I never really looked at the block because I just assumed everything was stock but I was replacing my radiator and found this.

    756.jpg

    757.jpg

    The old Radiator was toast...

    758.jpg

Had to cut some of the front x member to get the radiator to fit and its a tight squeeze with that ac compressor. Painted vc the colorshift from advanced auto.

    759.jpg

Nor for exhaust... My stock muffler rusted off right at the muffler to axle bend side. I used my bender and just fabbed up a boso inspired straight pipe.

    760.jpg

i was somewhat happy but it wasn't the angle I was looking for so I bought a sedan dual tip muffler and started pie cutting and welding it to make it fit. Came out real nice and its silent.

Here is just seeing how it lined up before i cut it all up.

    761.jpg

    762.jpg

You can see how far off everything is.

Here is my final result after cutting everything down to just a bunch of pipes and hangers laying in the floor and doing it from scratch.

    763.jpg

MPFI and vtec-e coming soon hopefully. (msg me if you have parts) And plan on buying some esm 009 or some enkei 92 here soon.

jongsr , Its the best ride ive had from a lowered car and its the lowest ive had. Now that being said, it bottoms out on occasion although freeway driving is part of my everyday commute so it will handle bumps and high speeds just not anything over 2" straight drop off or lift up. if its gradual yea it handles it all day it just doesnt have the geometry to be a rock crawler or perform like stock obviously. Rear top hats are a must.. MUST. and id even go a little stiffer if i could go back and do it again.
  • Damn both are so clean! Im jelly
