Found the leak...

So my recently purchased wagon had a leak coming down the a pillar and right where the rearview mirror bolts in. It has a dealership sunroof so I figured oh its just a clogged drain this will take no time at all... 9 hrs later and I just got home. Ends up its a botched replacement windshield job which sucks. Windshield they did fine on but the trim was glued in maybe 3 times by the look of it and in the process they trapped water in pockets all along the valleys. Where there's water there's rust and there were three little holes that had eaten all the way through to the inside. Disappointing but I handled it with some rust eliminator and some black rtv silicone. Ill have to see how it worked tomorrow.

Also in the process of finding the leak i took down the "headliner" or what was left of one from them hacking it up to fit a sunroof. I saw someone wanted to see what a slide back sunroof looked like on a wagon so I'll take some pictures tomorrow. Also I'll take some pics of the custom headliner Ill have to make so its not fabric just hanging between gaps.

Now its time for some sleep

Sunroof is 1.75 inch down from the roof skin so using any kind of stock headliner became out of the question. Dealership that put the sunroof in just cut parts to use of the headliner and just let the fabric hang between gaps. Needless to say it started falling down pretty bad and I couldn't stand it. Went to my local hancock fabrics and picked up some headliner material and some 3m adhesive spray (THE ORANGE CAN GREEN CAN EATS THROUGH FOAM BACKING!). Also went to home depot and picked up some styrofoam to act as a gap filler. Here is the result after lots of cursing and very sticky arms.

Ended up breaking the rear dome light when I was removing it so I haven't installed it in this pic but I'm pretty happy just nervous to see how long it lasts.

What is the dealer installed sunroof?

Have any more pics of it?

Been thinking that a sunroof could be a nice addition to one of mine.
