Towing 91 RT4WD 6spd manual 850 miles HELP

Band Wagon
New here so please bare with me :tickled_pink:
Just got a hold of my first 91 RT4wd thing is its at my sister place in SLC Utah and I am in Portland Oregon.
I have searched and search.. Ive found the 4wd can be flat towed short distances or I can get a dolly and dis-engage 4wd and tow her BUT is this safe for the trans and other parts of the drivetrain ? reason for me posting is the distance.
Its almost exactly 850 miles from my place to my sisters.
Car does not run due to seized motor but i am getting the car for free and the rest of it is dang near mint
Any help would be great and appreciated !:encouragement:
Thanks for the time in advance.

If dude is asking about how to tow an RT....chances are:
1. he doesn't know how to check if the 4wd is disengaged or not after turning the switch
2. he doesn't know how to remove the drive shaft rear section.
all to save $20-40? $20-40 isn't worth the headache if you don't know and is barely starting out messing with these cars. I'm not a seasoned veteran when it comes to these cars and neither is the OP, unless i'm just stupid and assuming, and he is a mechanical prodigy like you...then I'll shaddap my mouth. Then again if he was like you Bam, he would not be asking simple questions such as these.
Like i said i don't recommend it towing with a dolly, keep it simple and get a flat bed unless you're mechanically inclined and know exactly what you're doing and have done this before, good luck to you and congratulations on the new RT lol
