The outside looks fresh. Dented driver side fender so I know its real. I do not know why every single brown interior looks so bad before a member gets it.
lol yeah take a look at my build check that brown interior out lol 88 wagon (oregon) is whats it is called it was really bad

Nice work on the cleaning! Man what a difference some soap, water and a while lot of elbow grease makes! As far as the headrest, i have no clue. My thought is if u need it, have found one that matches and in good shape, then get it. Interior parts are hard to come by, especially if u can justify the cost. Haggle on price and flash cash, or bundle with some other things to make it more worth it.
Ill document my swap for sure. Just need TIME! Arrr:nightmare:

Thanks man! Yeah just cleaning makes a car look 10 times better. Im a true believer in cleaning .. Im just glad it doesnt smell like doo doo, grease and dirt anymore. Any time you want to send those pics of the parts you need go a head and do it no rush. What swap are you doing? Im gsr swaping mine as soon as the d15b2 goes cuu poo. lol

Heres the after huge difference! I love it.

Stock roof rack that I took off and plasti dipped.

    111.jpg

The back one wasn't done but you get the gist of it.

    112.jpg

Took all the windshield wipers off and painted them with black trim pant.

    113.jpg

This was the second coat of plasti dip on the back lip. It looks smooth, black and back to factory now.

    114.jpg

Front bumper before I plasti dipped it. it was fadded and scratched a little. The Plasti Dip filled the scratches up and made it look oem fresh again.

Cool cool, Yeah the wiring part is the bitch.. I do like having my a/c though. If i can put a 2003 nissian s/c frontier motor in a 1988 nissian maxima i believe I can gsr swap a honda. If you get all the parts in and need some help I could make a road trip down there and help you with it.

Preciate the offer, I've got a buddy that help me swap a supercharged GSR into my EG, But he's just waiting on me to get all the stuff. Trying to put together a list of wires and pins, extensions, plugs, etc. And will be triple checking before I Start soldering. Trying to get it done before Import Atlanta.

I love all the detailed work your accomplishing. Looks epic! Did you do any sort of prep work for your bumpers before you applied the plasti dip?

cool cool man Just let me know if ya need any help!
  • Im doing a little update on the wagon. I got bored and started plasti dipping all the window trim and the rectangular part right below the back glass.

    298.jpg

This is how all the trim looked like. It was killing me!!!

    299.jpg

    300.jpg

It turned it black as if it was new I promise I just dont have any close up pics of it.

    301.jpg

I taped it off but after the plasti dip dried i simply pealed both with emblems with my thumb sort of just rolling my thumb over them. I let it set over night before i did that though so it would tear right around the emblems.

    302.jpg

    303.jpg

I took the back vent on the back glass out it was looking a little faded so I plasti dipped that as well. It only had one screw but be super careful about taking those pieces out its easy to break the trim around the window. Push up on the vent towards the roof. Theres little slots that need to be slid up with the vent thats attached to the vent. It was soooo nasty under there too.

    before I cleaned it

I took all the mudflaps off cleaned and plasti dipped as well. I got to thinking that the letters on the mudflaps would look good in a different color and bam I got an idea. plasti dip the mudflap about 3 coats then I have the same color as my car in a spray can that came with the car. So i let the plasti dry then sprayed the bottom of the flap with the paint let it dry then covered it back with a couple coats of plasti. As soon as it dried I took my thumb and rolled the plasti dip off of the lettering. Heres some pics of the process I did.
