rear hatch struts on wagon ?

I just put a set of Tokiko blues & lowering springs from a 91 hatch onto my 90 wagon. I noticed during the swap that the lower spring cups are mounted higher on the strut on the hatch rear struts. my car is all jacked up in the rear! If I were to put the hatch springs on the wagon struts would this bring the back down or just cause the struts to bottom out sooner? HELP I'm all jacked up!
