Found all 16 lugnutcaps and 4 centercaps in a short search, was pretty surprised to find these rare and genuine Mugen items in under two weeks,
All are used and have patina but really, I don't bother... It's awesome to find these things anyway.

Shuttle passed inspections friday, mounted the Mugens yesterday and lowered the car again.
Just need some camber on the front wheels and wait for short-open lugnuts so I can mount all the Mugen caps.
I ordered new floormats (going to be custom cut from my worn out OEM mats) and after that I must clean the whole car and detail it.

Hope I get done by Sunday so I can make some new pics.

    So I ordered these floormats.
Both fronts and rears look awesome and fit like OEM, they used my OEM set floormats as an example.

This set is going up for sale tho, I prefer another color for my wagon.
  • Vladi I need you to come finish my wagon dude!
  • Did you do something special to make your front seats lay flush with the rears seats? when they are fully laid down? Mine do not seem to do that.

Remove the headrests, push the seats al the way forward and lean back, lean back, lean back, lean back.

Lol.dont have the time man... my Shuttle is broken down again so need to fix that first.
  • Thanks Vladi, I will try it again maybe they didn't get pushed far enough forward.
  • Yeah Vladi I don't have any time either. With a 5 year old, a 7 week old, a house, a job, doing a swap on my truck, trying to finish my AE86, working on other peoples crap, yeah I have no time either.

One of these days I will also send you pics of all these JDM wheels I am sitting on and seeing if you or anybody you know what to come pick some up.

A lot busier than me man!

You have a build thread on your AE86?

Friend of mine is swapping a 4AGE on TB's in his Carina TA60, he has had 2 AE86 and still has 2 AE82GT project which he is trying to sell.
    Toyota's are great cars too.

Im looking forward to the pics man!
  • No build thread, I had most of it on my own site before it was deleted. Need to repost them all on the new one.

Here is a pic of it though. Got three projects that are all damn near completion if I could just find some time. But here is my AE86 with a CA18DET Nissan turbo motor, top mount RX7 intercooler, custom top mount turbo manifold, megasquirt, just needs a couple of welds to finish up the intercooler piping, fuel system done and finish up the wiring.

That's a beauty man, I simply love it.
I'd go with a 4AGE blacktop for OEMness but whatever the CA18DET delivers more fun in this chassis I guess.
Those wheels (Ewing Fins?) Look better on the Hachiroku than any other car I've seen them on.
  • I guess technically they are Ewings, but they are branded SIEG.

    I'll just leave this here;

After a number of setbacks and lots of work I finally got the Mugens fitted on the Shuttle
So glad with this look, love that I got all the caps and the car sits how I want it to be.

    Next up:
New floor mats for the interior, should be deliverd tomorrow or tuesday.

Addicted to the hunt for classic/optional parts.
    Trying these 2 steering wheels in my Shuttle this week;
the woodgrain one might be a keeper.

    Picked this up last thursday.

The second one (pretty unknown what it is exactly, but it's optional EF Honda for sure ) is on his way.

    Love these parts

the wood wheel is pretty spectacular... lets see it in the wagon!
  • VladiVladi Senior Wagonist
    Thanks guys!

Everyone likes the woodgrain one (including me and even my Girlfriend)
Trying it in the Shuttle soon but I don't think It's a keeper since it's a 5th gen wheel and I kinda like to keep the car Era-correct.

I'll snap pics from all of the steering wheels in the Shuttle this weekend, but I think my Optional 4thGen 4spoke momo is a keeper ;)
