Put shorter springs on the coilover set last friday for another inch drop, ride height is now where it should be. The wheels need a spacer or a wider lip but thats for later on.
Took it out for the first drive in 6 months yesterday, felt good... Handling is sick and it isnt even aligned yet.
Plans for this week and the coming weeks (summer-holiday):
Back to paintshop for polishing, install the trims on the side, align the wheels, install rear camberset, get the last 2 windows in (still waiting for some stuff off the dealership)
Thanks man!
Most urgent things now are the clips behind the quarter panel windows... Already waiting for 3 weeks on them. If those are in I can finally finish it.
Think we should do a Dutch Shuttle g2g Mesa! How is de K shuttle doing?
Rear windows are in! Few things left to do but with around 35°celsius in the workshed i'm more busy rehydrating than wrenching. But with 3 weeks off from work I need to get this fixxed asap so I can enjoy some good cruising.
I'll update the thread with some new pics soon.
does the color change that much!? It looks blue in the top pic and grey in the bottom
Thnks guys! Im pretty amazed myself wheni see the before and after pics!
Its pretty hard to catch the color on phonecamera... it is grey but depending on light it varies from blueish in dusk too almost brownish in sunset.
Reflections help a lot too, car is very shiney!
Been to a few carmeets the past weeks, got a lot of positive reactions on the Shuttle and got a few new pics:
Also got a track leading to some (possible) NOS SH5 window visors and some NOS rear mudflaps, hope to close the deal on those soon!
Just 3 meets to go this season and the Shuttle will be going back in the shed to "perfect" it.
got some minor issues and some things which I dont like I want to sort out.
Thanks guys, our local car-club had an event yesterday,
Had an awesome weekend and some cool reactions on the Shuttle, a guy with an all new build RoadRunner came up to me and said the Ferrari I parked up next to for fun his paint wasn't as Shiny as my Shuttle,
Must be one of the coolest comments I have heard on the Shuttle this far.
Completing the million; $100k Ferrari, $80k Viper, $40k Prowler, $60k Roadrunner and my Shuttle :nightmare:
Also had a meet up with a guy who bought a lot of stuff of an out of business dealer. He wasn't sure if these parts are for a Shuttle. But they are :devilish:
Guy opened the boot and this is what I saw; was like opening a treasure chest;
Honda Access Window Visors, new in box, plastics and with all the manuals and further requirements.
Rear Mud Guards (OEM Access, with all screws and manual)

I envy you for getting EDM parts! I need to find someone to trade with pronto!
Thanks man!
Think there are plenty of people willing to trade.
I also admire the thorough work with paint, body, interior, etc

Finally found a motivated moment to fit them to the wagon;
