2wd 5lug with oem honda parts?

Hey guys,
I have searched and found 3 or 4 topics about this, but none had any conclusive data about this. Im thinking about putting my ef 5 lug on my 2wd wagon. Now I know the rears don't fit, but is it possible to put the 5lug parts on the wagon trailing arm itself or with some minor mods? I have all these parts and thought of installing them on my wagon but if it's not possible i'll just put them on my hatch or crx :D

  • You have to convert to disc rear end (which there is a thread or two about, but they stay 4 lug) then redrill the hub to be 5x114.3, front is the same as any EF of which there is soo much info it isnt funny.

There is no step-by-step guide on how to do it, you need to work that out yourself

Alternativly there will be a build thread started in the near future about a K20 powered Shuttle Race car build. There have convereted to 5stud and disc rear end, there will not be a how too but there will be pics and it will be the highest quality conversion seen to date
  • okay so there is no way i can use some parts of my ITR rear trailing arm on my wagon? In that case I'll just forget it. I thought it was a good idea for my k20 swap as well haha
  • Maybe you can adapt the hub to fit a wagon RTA, there may be some machining involved. You will have to investigate

A few members have done 5 lug conversions, but it needs a bit of modding. One of the NJ boys did it with the help of another member that made a kit($$$).

:encouragement:I just had a thought.Peeps never think about it 'cuz they want rear disc.Take a look, but to bolt on a 5-lug 2wd CR-V rear drum brake set-up could be easier than a disc conversion.
You'll get 5-lug & upgraded brakes.Shoes that'll be easier to find in the future.
