Anyone ever thought of remote trunk opener?? Is it possible?

    Yeah, would be easy with strong enough hatch springs and a door popper kit with keyless entry.

    did you want it to mimic the trunk release pull or do you want it to power all the way open..????

    Preferably to open all the way up. It would be a dream : super convenient

    Agreed. Way down the list of things I'd actually spend my time doing. But if I saw it wouldn't cost too much, I'd probably do it.

    Accord Euro Wagons (CM3 is the chassis code i think?) do this, they have a motor which drives it open. This fails expensively!

    CR-V have a remote popper for the hatch glass but the struts arnt strong enough to lift it past vertical, once horizontal it will lift itself the rest of the way.

    Perhaps if you adapted the CR-V popper mechanism to your wagon then figured out a way to fit stronger struts or springs or something it could work?
