I put back together all the front suspension so I could move my car into the garage a bit to paint. After that I taped up the engine bay and layed down a few coats of primer.

I am ordering a bunch of new suspension parts as well. Control arms, coil overs, bushings, and ball joints.
Tomorrow I plan to finish painting the engine bay.

So yesterday I finished painting the engine bay. I think it turned out pretty good for a drive way paint job. Also was my first time painting with a spray gun. Took me a while to get to to spray how I wanted it, but I got it figured out. Here it is!

This was right after I finished painting

About 24hrs after it being painted, and I took the paint off. I kinda of taped the booster pretty crappy, but I think you wont see that once I put everything back together.

I tried to order my Progress CS-2 last night, and apparently they are back ordered for 4-5 weeks. This really sucks because I would like to have everything put together by that time.
  • Paint came out great Wagonhoe.... Wagons looking good. If i were you i would make sure All of your engine seals are good, including you air intake and exhaust, white engine bays get dirty with a quickness... Oh and dont wash or degrease your bay for at least a week

Thanks for the tip. Know of any good sites I could possibly buy a new exhaust and intake seal. I know I probably will need some for sure.

So my front LCA's arrived yesterday. I completely dissembled everything from the left side suspension today. Going to do the right tomorrow. I also ordered a bunch more parts today because I felt they were bad after looking at them.

    Today I ordered
-Outer and inner tie rod ends for both sides
-New rack & Pinion bellow(Both sides were split in halve)
-New splash guards both sides(The splash guards are so rusty I can touch it and it just crumbles. They defiantly have to go.)
-New wheel bolt to thread on the hub.(I realized that when I bought the card it only had 3 nuts on one of the front wheels. Someone stripped one of them...)
-And some new screws for the splash guard. (I also realized I was missing the 2 screws for the rotors too. I ordered those to as well for both sides.)

I also took the vacuum and tried to scrub the hell out of the seats with this stain remover I bought. It kinda of worked, but the stains are still there. It looks better than before at least. Repaint the seats maybe?

Heres some pictures of todays work.

The wheels wells are caked with dirt. I was thinking of pressure washing them.

The stripped bolt. Should always thread them on by hand first... lol

Thanks man. I am really proud of my first time ever painting with a spray gun. I am actually having a lot of fun with my first build ever. I am learning tons of new things. Learning all the names of the different parts I didn't know about before. I also am getting a very good understanding on how things work. It's so much better doing your own work and learning for yourself rather than paying someone to build it for you!

GJ man, I like doing the most of the work on my own cars too.

I did my interior with an extractor and heavy duty carpet cleaner from Poorboys (Vacuum cleaner with water, not sure if Extractor is the correct English word for it), came out amazingly clean.

Thanks man. I will look into a more heavy duty cleaner like you suggested.

So a bunch of my parts came in throughout this week. I am still waiting on a couple more parts. I also decided on changing my coil over choice. I read some reviews and bought some HSD locally brand new.

All I am waiting on is a wheel stud, and some new splash guards. I started installing parts today I am about half way done putting all the front suspension together. I am not going to finish it until rest of my parts arrive. I know I still have a lot more to buy, but money is my issue lol. Here are some pics. Been having a crappy weekend been raining on and off so I rigged up a tarp over my car!

I would have to say your local parts house should have them... or go with ebay.... What kind of exhaust you running?

Rockauto.com. They have the best prices for aftermarket parts. If your not looking for parts like Skunk 2 etc. Just regular good quality after market parts. Fast delivery as well. Only thing I got mad about was a I order over $600 worth of parts and too of the ball joints they sent me were different. One never came with a cotter pin and the nut and circlip were different as well. One ball joint was blue and the other was black. So I called Rockauto.com. They gave me no hassles and shipped me another one free of charge. They did not even want me to ship back the old ball joint.

So I have been busy working on my wagon lately hitting many road blocks. I change the tie rods, and was trying to install the bellow boots. I was having such a hard time stretching the new rubber around the bigger diameter. I tried everything, but it is so hard with the very little clearance under the subframe. I just decided that I would drop the whole rack and pinion and do it while it is out. I keep coming across rusted/stripped bolts and spend way to much time trying to remove certain nuts and bolts.

So I had a friend stop by today to tell me his good news of his 1991 Integra he bought. It came with a GSR ,and he told me he plans to swap the GSR head for a b16a head. I asked me if I was interested in the GSR head, so I asked how much not even thinking I would buy it with my budget right now. He said free! He claims it fine and everything and he said we can do a compression test on it. Either way it is a free GSR head. So it the next week or two me and him will remove the GSR head install the b16a, and Waa laa I get a free GSR head:D This winter I will do a rebuild on the head, and next summer will be a b20vtec setup. If I get the money this summer I will do it, but most likely not. I still will need to come up with the money for cert/etest and first and last months insurance.

So the rest of my parts arrived that I have been patiently waiting for. I was going to install the splash guards, but then I realized I have to remove the hub then I would of to have it pressed back in. So I am going to save these for a later date. When I have some cash I will take it over to a shop and get them to throw them on for me.
    282.jpg

After that I banged out the old stripped wheel stud. Than I had a hard time figuring out how to get the new one in with out stripping it. There was no indent or anything along the hub where they can slid in and out easily. So I took a air grinder to it and may a flat spot. And managed to hammer it in without slightly just hitting the threads. Than we used a axle nut and wheel stud nut and tighten it up to pull it the rest of the way in.
    283.jpg

I also got the rack and pinion off. Got the one boot on I was fighting with than put it all back together.
    284.jpg

I accidentally removed this nut whiling taking the rack and pinion off thinking it had to come lose. When putting it back on I noticed if I put it to tight the rack wouldn't slide and to lose the rack had play. What I did was connect the two splines together and left the rack and pinion unbolted. And kept tightening it a bit than I checked the steering until it moved freely and wouldn't be hard to turn on spots.

So I am trying to somehow get my rywire harness to connect to everything in my car. How the previous owner had it set up was he had each plug individually ran than a mass duct tape everywhere. What I started to do was undo all the duct tape, but the wires and everything run in the dash etc and it is very hard to trace them. So I started tearing apart the dash. I got it almost off it seems like it just hanging there, but i still can not remove it.

Anyways back to the wiring. So for my harness the there are 5 plugs on one end than the rest of the other side are all the plugs for the engine harness. The 3/5 plugs on the inside part of the harness plug into my obd-1 ecu. Than another one plugs into the other part of the harness that came with the wiring harness. Than that runs off somewhere else. This is a really big headache for me. I think I will need a manual to get all these wiring diagrams in order. I want to heat-shrink everything and run it into one plug so it will just plug straight in my Rywire harness.

This was the old obd-0 to obd-1 conversion harness that was used before. I will not be needing this I assume this my rywire harness plug right into my ecu.
    294.jpg

These were the plugs running into the engine bay. The 4 injectors wires are in there somewhere that were duct tape together to another piece leading to the injectors plugs. When I sold the B16a. It also had some of the engine harness attached to it I believe.
    295.jpg

This is how the wiring harness looks plugged into the ecu the 3 plugs go right in the one other plug connects to this other wiring harness leading to two other plugs. Than I have one plug left out of 5 by the ecu.
    296.jpg

I am determined to figure this all out may take me a while, but I am in too deep with money and time to give up now.

So it took me a few weeks to get a proper side bracket. So that I was able to swap the motor in my car. The b20b had my mount sitting on a angle. Once I found that the motor went in last weekend.
I also cleaned up and painted the block.

    554.jpg

The wiring is still a mess, but once I install the transmission clutch, etc, fire it up and it runs and drives fine I will put everything back together. I went to install the flywheel and the bolts were to short. So I tried to find some from a supplier, but they said they could not match those bolt sizes, so off to Honda I went and spent $50 for 8 tiny bolts... Kept all the packaging and receipts took the old bolts back and paid %20 stocking fee and got them for $10 :D

Hello guys I am back:p Yes I do still have wagon, and I finally just got her on the road last week. Alot more work has been done to it since. I have been just busy with work/girlfriend and I guess just kind of too lazy to post on here. But I want my build to still be seen, and get some feed back. Any ways to the good stuff!

I am kind of limited on pictures at the moment. I did not really take as many as I should of. I will be taking much more pictures from now on.

Since I have been the away I bought and had a few things done to my car
    -Full race traction bar
    -Full race half rad
    -Full alignment
    -New winshield
    -Civic hood bra
    -New e-brake cables

I ended up purchasing a pioneer stereo as I saw it was on sale, and I really needed one. Driving to work every morning with no music sucks at least for me! I got it all wired up went to mount it and realized I never had the radio panel to keep it held in place. So I have it resting right now until I can buy something.

Went to the local car store, and bought some car parts today. Some garage 16 rear control arms and lower brace. My rear control arms have been clunking for quite a while now. Also I passed my e-test today!10172792_10152007984031643_8901648308371189522_n.jpg
