honda-boy's RT4WD shuttle (new goodies on the way)

New to the forum, so I'll introduce myself first.

My name is Christoph, I'm 24 years old and I'm from Belgium.

And today (or tomorrow) I'm picking up my very own RT4WD civic shuttle.
It will be my new daily drive because some idiot rammed my '83 civic

The wagon is completly stock and I bought it from it's first owner. is has about 180.000 km on it but still looks very nice, there are only a few minor rust spots, a small dent in the driver door and some scratches here and there.

Some pic's

    thx,

Ik ben van het noord-oosten van Belgie dus nederlands is goed   Ik woon op +/- half uurtje van de nederlandse grens. vlakbij antwerpen moest je dat weten zijn.

I'm from the north-east part of Belgium so you can speak Dutch to me, French is also possible but I prefer Dutch  Or you can do it in English so the rest of the forum can also understand

hmmm i noticed you didnt have an A/C switch.

nope no A/C in this one.

The sunroof is very strange, you can see tru the left and the right part of it, in the middle there is an extractorfan (hope i wrote that right ?!) of some sort. It's powered by the solar panel in the middle.

I just went downstairs and took some pics of it.

  • Wow, you got paid. Nice find. That sunroof set up is sick. I'd love that for Tahoe.
  • Man that thing is so clean. Very jealous. 8)
  • I'm really happy with it, considering that there aren't that much wagons in Belgium. I got a great one.

that looks so good i was just looking at some EK4 rims and was wondering how they would look on my wagon, but it looks like you beat me to the punch! how much did you pick those up for?

    ps - hella nice wagon

Very Nice wheels! Did you think of lowering the wagon?
  • adamEFwagon ; I picked them up for 300 euro's, that's about 400 Us Dollars. that's very cheap over here, certainly with about brand new tires. most of the tme they go for about 600 euro's (800 USD).

@ NJCIVICWAGON ; that's next on my TO DO list :D

but that will be for sometime next month, got some other costs first.
  • I've been doing some research to upgrade my brakes. now for the front I'm thinking of th next setup.

260 mm Brembo Max discs with Ferodo DS2500 brakepads.

    some pics of the goodies.

now for the back I'll be doing a conversion to discs in stead of the drums, but that's for in a couple of months, first I have to find all the components at a reasonable price.

thats a damn good price...i like the brembo set-up that will be so good, my old girlfriend had some of those brembos on her integra they were amazing

  • it's been a while since I updated here, but I had a little accident and I broke my heel.

    cool.
  • oke, finally found some time to start building in some music in my wagon. got everything on paper today and also started with the woodwork, hope to have all the woodwork done by tomorrow night so I can start with the fiberglass next week.

    I'm building in 2 12inch woofers a amp and a condensator + 2 6*9 speakers.

I'll try and post some pictures tomorrow night ;-)

also finally decided on what to do with the exterior, hope to have it done by februari
  • oke here is a pic of my work yesterday. I'm not where I want to be in the build but I started rather late yesterday because I had a massive hangover from saterdaynight

I only have one pic (batteries died on me) I'll take some more pics when all the woodwork is done.

    dsc07746hc2.jpg

the woofers will be on the other way around, the back is way nicer then the front.

Well, I can do French, Dutch and, of course, English. I agree though that we should keep it in English so the remainder of the Forum can follow. :P

I lived near the city of Nijmegen for a year (back in the early eithies). I don't know why the Dutch language has stuck for so long but I'm glad it did. Lately though I'm getting more practice on my German but that's okay. My friend Dan recently gave me an entire collection of Nena retrospective CDs so I've been playing that at the office and in the car. LOL

I like the pictures you've posted. The wagon is a very nice shade of blue. Is the sunroof stock or aftermarket? I certainly like that solar-powered set-up for sucking out the hot air, it's a good idea.

    Tot straks!! (See you later)

nice pics. love what you've done to the car.

keep us updated on what you do with the sound system in the audio section, that section needs some new flavor lol

    again, nice wagon!
