1st time Wagon-er. Greetings from NJ!

Band Wagon
Hey guys,
Just figured I would introduce myself and say whats up. Reading a lot over the last few weeks, as I just picked up a *what i would consider* clean 87 RT AWD manual.
Just wondering what everyone thinks about what I paid for it (not like I can change it now! lol), but on to some details about the car-
'87 RT AWD (light blue)
Manual w/ 4lo (never knew that!)
1 prior owner
119k
NO RUST/ROT!
clear coat fade on hood/roof/a pillar
Im amazed at the car, and amazed even more at the AWD! I ended up finding the car when I was driving through no-wheresville PA about 45 minutes off the NJ border with my daughter. I saw it sitting in a old 4 car garage poking out. I stopped and spoke with the homeowners about the car, left my business card and pleaded they call me when they sold it, as I thought it was quite unique, and always had a "thing" for them.
3 weeks later I got a call from the son who's father owned the car, and he has passed away. I purchased the car from the estate for 1600, and the car has every oil change/brake/carburetor rebuild recipe from new. Original pamphlet from honda dealer, invoice etc.
Luckily the history on the car is that it was purchased here (in PA, i live in NJ) and driven to AZ in 93. Lived there until 2012 when driven back by the son after the father's health was failing and parked in the barn for 6 months. Fired right up and drove great LOL!
Anyways I think I got lucky with a 1 owner car, and definitely won't lose $ on the car since it seems all the kids around here love them. I plan on doing some light suspension mods, firming up the overall feel of the car (bigger OEM brakes, 15" wheels) and enjoying it for what it is.
I have for about the past 8 years been playing with turbo dodge neons, and have a 1G neon coupe that I drag race, but have had my share of hondas to play with over the years (H22 EK coupe, Clean EK coupe daily stock) but need the 4 doors for my daughter
I'll get pictures off my camera soon and post up when I get a chance. Cheers!

Is it too soon for me to start asking stupid questions?
Main items on the list are to get it up on a lift soon and see what is old and rotting away. Is it high hopes to try and find a master bushing kit from energy suspension? Also going to have to look into doing something by spring with the suspension, its definately showing every bump and bounce of its age.
The other place to research would be redpepperracing.com. That seems to be the place for 84-87 Civic knowledge.
Anyone?
