RoRo's 1990 Wagon - Canadian "Swagon"

Hey all, i havnt had the best start on this forum, my intro thread didnt post and when i posted a few pics of my wagon the thread got locked due to being too much of a build in the wrong section.

So here it is :D

My 1990 Civic wagon, originally from the US bought and made its way to Canada, i saw this online a year before i bought it and when i had the money i snatched it up asap

has currently 298XXX Miles, FWD with a SOHC ZC non vtec head, full grey interior swap, bought it with tons of spares, lowering springs, some very odd ford rims and came with a B16 swap with mounts and axles.

i didnt put this car on the road because i wanted to do a full rebuild from ground up so it sat for 2 years, in that time i fully built my EG hatch and had bought another EG hatch to do up and bought a 92 DA integra which i through too much money into as well, so i decided to put the wagon on the road and start the build august this year.

Heres the car the day i bought it:

so right away i started collecting parts, went to the local wrecking yard and found 2...yes 2 OEM hood bra's got them each for $5 a pop
Missing a Corner light when i bought the car, and threw on some random Konigs i had laying around

Thats all i did to the car then let it sit, once i decided to put it on the road, i needed a new catalytic converter, some exhaust work, i put lowering springs in it, put on the classic garden edging front lip and some freshly powder coated Volk cv pro's which i neded up putting on my DA and put the blades on the wagon

then all the black trim, hatch, bumpers, hood, spoiler had all faded like crazy, so it was time for a respray cant find during pics right now, but here are some afters with my buddys wagon we painted

As of right now the head liner is out from doing the lights, im going to install a DA map light, rear roof speaker pod from a 90's jeep cherokee, and typical fix all the roof supports which have come loose off the roof skin, and then re wrap the head liner :D

    Very nice wagon
  • Sweet looking car mate.

    Quick question.

What rear suspension setup are you running? Just stock shocks and lowering springs?
  • RoRoRoRo Wagonist
Thanks guys, no now I'm running coil overs on stock shocks, going to be getting new suspension in the spring
  • Sweet dude, cheers for the info.
  • RoRoRoRo Wagonist
But the coil sleeve had been cut to be lower and the bottom seats on the shocks had been cut so the sleeves will sit flat
  • Woah, does it ride ok?
  • RoRoRoRo Wagonist
it rides alright surprisingly, if you hit a bump it bangs abit but im pretty sure thats just because the shocks are blown lol

its the Haggard wagon, she'll make it till spring
  • Haha nice!

Love the wheels you decided to go with. You said you have 2 OEM bra's? I want one!
  • RoRoRoRo Wagonist
2 for $10 yeh , one is a beater, and the other is a show one because its mint

The wheels I saw for the first time when I joined another forum in 2011 and I said to myself "one day I will own those"
Destiny brought them too me so happy I got them, they have 205/45/16 fronts and 215/40/16 rear but I'm going to do 195/40/16 front ad 195/45/16 rear

its different... thats for sure.... I kinda hate them... lols, but to each their own...
  • RoRoRoRo Wagonist
^ different is all i going for, im not going to sit here and get all pissed because someone doesnt like them,

thanks for the comments to everyone and the wagon as it is in these pictures is "winter mode" or what me and my friends say "winter swag"
come spring time it wont even be the same wagon you see here at all,

im a domestic guy at heart, and i own 6 cars 4 are hondas and 2 are domestics....

if you see my domestics compared to my imports you understand why the imports look the way they do all haggard and funky looking lol
  • roro ive seen em' lol hows the DA?
  • RoRoRoRo Wagonist
DA is parked and needs some work come spring time , and work means MONEY $$$$

I'm guessing Canada forums kicked you off for your interesting style.
  • RoRoRoRo Wagonist
No not at all I post on there 20 times a day , I made a build theead for my eg when I first joined, then on my da when I got that, the. My other eg but never felt like starting a wagon build, I've posted pictures but not a full build thread so I decided to do it on here where it's mean to be
  • RoRoRoRo Wagonist
Went to the auto wreckers today and got these two parts for $10

A map light out of a DA integra and a rear speaker pod/trunk light from a jeep Cherokee

    373.jpg
    374.jpg
  • Interested to see what you do wit the Jeep pods. Just my opinion but that light from the jeep really seems like it will be out of place in there. Either way good deal! Been looking in DA's for the map light for a while, haha.

This pic is badass btw. Do you happen to know the settings when taken? All I know is you would probably have it on a stand with a super slow shutter speed.
  • RoRoRoRo Wagonist
The jeep pod is going to be mounted on the headliner as far back as it can go and that light is going to stay there in replacement of the tiny little light from factory and then all wrapped as 1 so it looks stock :)

as for the picture I can't even remember but it was shutter on 5 seconds and I used an iPhone light to do the "RoRo"

So while I was waiting for my parts supplier to deliver some seam sealer I decided to paint the valve cover377.jpg And I course going to Sand the paint off the honda and HAnd then the seam sealer arrived and time to do what I've seen most on this forum...Stop the tin roof from flapping around!378.jpg
  • crx_arturocrx_arturo New Wagonist
It makes a huge difference when you redo the roof supports
