ketchup and mustard.

Well I picked up a new wagon from senomar (Cody) on Monday. I've owned a few Wagons, but this is my first RT4WD. Here's some pics of it and my 89 CRX...

As you can see the rear sits a bit higher than the front. I drove the car home from Chicago on these...

So I swapped out the front suspension in my driveway yesterday...I replaced with some stock struts and springs from a CRX. I don't really mind the difference as it's going to be temporary. Rears are in good shape too, so I'll probably leave it as is for now even though I've got some rear stuff from a CRX.

Here's some more shots...

Even came with a set of stock wheels with some beefy winter tires...

Engine bay needs cleaned up for sure...

A couple more of the CRX...

Plans for the Wagon are:

Fix the rust, and DIY repaint - Only one real bad spot near the tails...will need some new metal welded in
Front lip
Better suspension eventually (maybe throw on the Illuminas from the CRX when I upgrade)
Throw on rear 1/2 of stock CRX Si exhaust when that gets upgraded
Clean up engine bay, and repaint valve cover
Eventually turbo the A6

I love this damn thing.

    BOTH NICE!!!
  • Nice clean cars. Those thin winter tires come in handy. My wife has a nice set and man that thing is unstoppable in the snow. I have a wide set too but it wants to ride on top of the snow rather than cut through it like the thin ones. Sweet rides!!!!!
  • Thanks guys. :)

Did a full tune-up yesterday and got rid of the stickers on the back. Running a little better now. Looks like I need some new spark plug gaskets as I've got some oil in the threads. Oh well, it'll give me an excuse to pull the VC and paint it.

and get cracking on that VC d00d. ;)
  • i love your crx man, nice.

Ditto...the wagon's cool too, but that CRX makes me jealous as it looks so stock..like mine except it's yellow and has a better engine
  • haha. That's the idea. ;)

Look what else I picked up...

Unfortunately I just moved, and the Wagon couldn't come along for the ride. Was just going to be too much of a hassle to bring all 3 cars and a Penske full of crap, not to mention the place we moved into only allows 2 cars per house . :x The good news is that I sold it to a buddy who loves it and is going to take real good care of it in PA. The supercharger kit was part of the deal we had. JRSC B16 in a 'stock' CRX will be pretty fun. Too bad I can't install it for a while as the CRX is my daily driver for the time being. No down time allowed. :(

    Could be worse though!! :P

    damn it that sucks :(
  • wtf??? what is that, like 4 wagons in a year and a half?
  • Yup...I think. All left better than received though...which is the important thing I guess. Not like I'm some douche that's destroying em or something.

I honestly wasn't planning on selling this one. It was everything I wanted. BUT that was before the move South was official. I started talking to my buddy about it and he made an offer pretty much before I even thought selling would be the best idea. Really worked out best for the both of us.

    Don't hate me guys.

haha. The ONLY reason I haven't is because we have a 2 car limit at the condo here. :( Bad timing...but that's probably a good thing.

That's funny man...i bought my rt in chicagoland too, a few years ago, and the front springs were broke. They're the same size as an ed (ef) front spring...different rate though i think. I bought 2 new ones from the dealership.
