New Wagon Owner from Canada

Hello All,

Picked myself up a 1991 Wagon about a month ago off the original owner who took fanatastic care of the car throughout its life. He didn't want to get rid of it but his wife made him, they were a couple in there 60"s married for 32yrs! Just so happened I have always wanted one and $1500 later it was mine,he almost cried when I drove off.

The car is all original no modifications at all, always replaced with OEM parts and regular service always performed. It was like a step back in time, the exterior was as close to mint as I could ask and the interior looked like no one had ever sat in it.

Very rare find as they heavily salt the roads where I'm from and not many 2000+ model vehicles are in this kind of shape. It has been rustproofed most of its life so that has been a huge reason for the overall great shape of the vehicle.

I have owned basically every model of honda to date except for a Wagon and S2000. I have had integra's,all sorts of civic's, crx, old school accords, currently own a 1993 Del Sol also....I have lost track of all the honda's.

Plan to keep this one fairly stock and just enjoy it,so far I love the Wagon! Great on fuel which I why I bought it as I use it as a daily commuter to work and it is also very comfy to drive which was a welcomed suprise.

Looking forward to learning a few things about these Wagons on here!

Cheers,

Adam

  • Outside of Ottawa is where I'm located. I'll try and get a few pics up within the next day or so.
  • Nice to see another wagon owner from Ontario. I am located in Mississauga. Just picked up a white wagon with a blown b16a two weeks ago. Had it towed all the way from Kingston!
  • Welcome. I would love to see this wagon as well. Start up a build thread and I'm sure you'll get a following.
  • Hey RoRo, Seems as if you have a white wagon from your avatar.
If so, and you need any interior goodies, there was a full blue mint interior up at the cookstowne auto wreckers just north of toronto when i went this saturday.... door cards, mint front and back seats, headrests, body is toast, but the interior is there if you need anything major.

Won't really be much of a build on the car, some suspension upgrades but I'm keeping it close to stock height, possibly a B16 down the road. I bought it for a DD and also to take camping and to throw the canoe on top of,I spend a lot of time camping in the summer/fall.

Yes, originally it started, but the day before my scheduled train ticket to Kingston he told it would not. I already payed 75 for the ticket, and planned to drive it home. I said what the heck and went anyways. Was glad to see the body was in amazing shape. Only surface rust in door panels, which I will be fixing come spring. Have the whole front end ripped off. The b16a is pulled out, and I am looking to get a b20. I am undecided if to paint the car back to white again, black, or like a gun metal grey colour? It does not have the side moldings which sucks, I will have to find some. Big plans for this car over the winter.

If I am not mistaken you bought the one in smith falls? All white mint interior just under 200k? I just saw this one go up... I wish I waited lol. I am still glad mine is in great shape 400k though but body is almost mint. Interior was horrid. I still would of gladly payed the extra cash to of had a running one.
