rhd wagon using an ef9 rhd clip.......POSSIBLE??? yesss !!!

I came upon this old thread where it was asked if you could use an ef9 rhd clip on an ee2....

http://www.civicwagon.com/showthread.php?13358-would-a-ef9-RHD-conversion-fit-in-a-wagon

soo, having done a couple of rhd hondas in the past....I took it upon me to try this theory out.....

Ok, we all know that the ee2 is "taller" than the ef3.....apparently it is like 2" or so....

thats why some ppl say that the firewall will be too short for the wagon....

but there are two parts to the "firewall".....

if you notice, the wiper area is where the 2" come into play, thus, wouldnt that make the bottom portion the same hight as the ef9 firewall?

like so......

(got the pic from the internet...i hope the owner doesnt mind)

and people usually leave the usdm wipers because of the VIN.....

OK, thats one part of the problem.....

NOW, the dash.....

the wagon dash has an "extension" that makes it longer so it goes all the way to the windshield....

i believe you can take the dash apart whereas you can take that "extension" off and put it on the rhd dash....

now the fun part is inside......

a/c, heater, blower.....

since i havent seen some jdm wagon a/c, heater, blower, i dont know if the tabs are longer or the same as the ef's....

ok, ideas, opinions, etc??

I already have an ef9 clip and a wagon.....

so im working and experimenting as I go along.... :)
