Help on RT4WD auto to manual swap please.........

Need some guidance on swapping out the automatic to manual transmission on a 1990 RT4WD.

I have the complete set of parts for a swap from another donor car of same year with the manual 6spd.

Can the sensors for the auto be looped w/o tearing out the complete wiring & loom????

Like I mentioned, need a waiving lantern.

    Just loop neutral safety at the shifter. The only other thing that comes to mind is reverse lights. If you want them, you'll have to run a pair from the auto shifter harness out to the switch on the manual transmission.

    Thanks for the input; i didn't even think about the backup lights!.....but what about the safety switch for the clutch pedal for ignition and also the blinky box under the driver seat for the auto trans?? Thanks again!

    I'm not sure about the safty switch, but as for the box under the seat, just unplug it

    The neutral switch for the automatic shifter is the equivalent of the clutch pedal switch. Your converted car just won't care if you push the clutch to start it!

    Thanks a million bam-bam & 90 RT4WD (Cody) for the input! The first attempt in doing this kind of swap is happening this Holiday weekend.

    So I'm sure I will come up with some more questions or concerns once they arise.

    Also Have do you know you will have to change the passenger side transmission mount at the frame? I Have done this same swap on my Red RT, its on my biuld tread if you would like to look there for more info on that mount.
