I've Been Around

I've been around hondacivicwagon for a few years but rarely posted, got fouled up trying to post pics over a password issue that kept looping me back to "that user name is already taken" (...by me) and I just gave-up. My once mighty fleet of wagons is down to one: a RED RT4WD. I sold a blue RT4WD, wrecked a red 2WD and wore out a blue and a grey 2WD over the past couple of years. My old man (91 y.o.) got me into wagons. He was a scientist and ultra-rational and bought the grey '91 ...in '91. It got passed-down to me eventually with 78K mi. and an inch thick maintenance file (mostly tires and oil changes). Drove it out to WA in '06 from WI. But my college aged kid hit a tree (gently) and it began to decline shortly after that. It overheated, warping the head and I sold it and bought a blue '89 2WD for my h.s. aged son to use. Not sure how it overheated with such low miles. For myself I bought a beautiful RED 2WD. Beautiful except for where the previous owner sideswiped a streetsweeper(?!) leaving a furrow in the entire passenger side. I repaired it and the had a tun of fun fixing it up until a pregnant lady with no insurance came flying out of an alley and demolished it. I cannibalized it before they towed it away and used the parts on the "new" RED RT4WD, which has a funny, hot engine smell but is otherwise fine. In a nod to my wife, it is an automatic, swapped for the previously mentioned blue RT4WD, while the blue 2WD. Yeah. Pic fill follow unless I get locked-out again...
