Well, I moved all weekend (my weekend is Wednesday and Thursday). It was horrible. I hate moving.
The nice thing- I had some time to break in the new garage. I've been staying up till about 2am lately- Im not sure what that's about. Took all night to install the map lights. I custom made the mounting bracket, its much like the mounting bracket from the OLD roof console. My new console did not come with a bracket that mounted via the rear view mirror. Anyways bought a heavy piece of metal at Home depot and formed it into what I needed (with some help from my RotoZip), sprayed it black and it turned out really decent- it looks very similar to the oem one on the old console. Anyways as with all most all of my projects I get so wrapped up in them- I never take pix of the process... I wired the map lights by tapping into the dome light. I ran another wire to ground it with the through the dome light ground as well- its really quite slick looking- I will take pix if anyone is interested.
