Ive put EF Konis in my shuttle fine...a bonus is to get a DA bottom perch for the rear shock as it should lower you a little bit more.
But yea, maybe if you installed it and showed us whats the problem? I've had no problem with shocks in the shuttle except when I put in shocks with ridiculous extended top hats :P
Unless you want to be dragging around on everything you wont need extended top hats. You'll be able to slam it pretty good without em, and yeah those springs looked a bit long.
So I had a mechanic look at the starting issue, basically what I had to do (after the car was warm) was start the car with my foot on the gas a bit, other foot on the brake to put it into gear (whilst still having my foot on the gas), foot off the brake, handbrake down, LIFT OFF!
He replaced the fuel filter as he said it was blocked, and he ran it in his workshop for 45 mins without it stalling.
**INTERIOR UPDATE**
I'm going to remove the headliner and lay down some nice vinyl or pattern of some sort.
Spray just the doorcards gunmetal grey, and hopefully fix the leaky drivers side window.
You took the flaps off? They look so good with em! And its funny when people are like "wtf" hearing all that scraping. Looking good though! Wheels are super unique too.

But I think I might go with a gunmetal grey for the door cards now.
Also, I am a HUGE n00b and was putting the suspension in wrong, so now it fits BUT, still no low.
So I looked on the tag that came attached to one of the springs, and it turns out they are just factory springs
But not to worry, at least I know now that I just have to get lowering springs and extended top hats for low
So on the weekend I want shopping for material for the back seat.
I found this nice plaid blanket, but it was darkish pink.
So I needed something to match the bottom, and went hard OTT and applied this to the seat.
Yes it's insane, but I like it
Oh and also.
It's rough so might need to be re-done.
So basically the plan for the inside is to do all the interior panels gunmetal grey with a black accent.
And also the strut debacle. I'm going to buy a pair of spring compressors and a set of lowering springs to get some low.

Cherrio!
So the car is running now!
Plan for the weekend is to remove the headliner and look for some weird patterns to chuck on it.
Take all the door cards off and spray them gunmetal grey.
Scored a MEAN set of wheels (see below).
15x7
ET35
4x100
Off a Toyota Vitz.
Just need tires now
Test fitted a Honda center cap, and they fit!
They look a bit silly at the moment, but when the low comes, they will look awesome.
Pretty much regreted painting the panels, I will try find a nice Blue in Vinyl Paint.
So I bought a pair of front Cobra superlows and a set of Coilover sleeves off an Integra that I will be picking up tonight.
So hopefully I will have some proper low by the weekend. Finally!
Alrighty, I picked the sleeves up last night.
They must have been in the shed for a while cause they were covered in cobwebs and shit.
So I took them apart and gave them a clean with some Meth's, then put them back together.
Might respray the springs, looks like they used to be red.
So I will hopefully get the fronts installed before the weekend, and the rears fitted on the weekend.
As for the suspension it is actually ef forks that make you go lover I have ef forks on my da to give it a bit more low
I haven't actually manged to get the rear struts out yet, so we'll see on the weekend
Alrighty, so this morning I got to work on fixing the strut.
I managed to get the fork out by putting a jack under the brakes and jacking it up to the max.
After that I slotted an adjustable wrench underneath the shock nut and tightened the nut by hand as much as I could.
After that I let the jack down, and it released the fork.
I then removed the fork then undid the shock nut, following with a big bang of the spring decompressing!
Now, I assembled the coilover onto the shock, and made it captive.
**WARNING** The following may make you vomit! This is how it sat.
Raised like a maafacker!
HOWEVER! The gods of Low witnessed my despair and sent me a pair of Cobra SuperLows!
So installed them and the result's are as follows:
OMG SOME LOW!!
Dropped it about 2" which is near perfect.
So I decided to chuck the new wheel on as a test.
Doesn't look to bad
So new clearance with both springs in:
Not bad.
They look to be factory widened off a Toyota Vitz.
Quick mock-up in Paint:
Should hopefully get it done this weekend.
So yeah, paint dem wheels white, need to sack the back more.
ATM its draggin it's flaps all over the place, so took them off after this shoot.
I had to cut them back a bit to stop them from scraping, but they are back on the car.
Also, wheels are off a 90-something Honda City, just gave them a paint with a rattle can in white.
Nice! I'm just letting mine decide how short they want to be. Those wheels work really good man.
So on my way back up from Gizzy, I stopped in at DB8-TypeR's place and picked up a few bits.
A set of JDM Beagle Bullbars with PIAA Foglights
A front lip from a Si Civic?
A spare rocker cover (which will be repainted in due time)
So heres some pix:
The bullbars aren't too low, however some scrapage does occur:
Also, I've given up on the Panda theme, so the sides are going to get re-painted.
Think I might paint them Silver to match the bumper.
