dim and flickerin lights

i have an 88 wago and it likes to stall and when i got the head lights on there really dim and flicker on and off.... i think its the alternator but im not sure... im gunna replace it but just want others oppinon on the problem.... the gauge clust shorted out on my one day and i i got a new one and it still doin the same old thing..... any info will help thanx

    Did you test the alternator yet? How's the coil on the dizzy? New plugs and wires?

    i found out the problem! my lil brother forgot the hook up a ground wire after i was throwing a eletrical load detector sencor code! thank you for the help!!! oh and i do need a new cap and rottor...... thank you!
