DIY Fender flares

I used fender flares from an 85-92 Vw Jetta. I held them up to the rear quarter, Marked, and cut them to where i liked them. To mount them i popped riveted them on from the bottom lip. (this is the same way they are mounted on the VW's. just thought I would share this idea with everyone. This is a great way to hide that common rust. Sorry for the bad pics I'll get some more.

    i forgot to mention that i also had to trim the flare a bit where it reaches the edge of the door.

    I agree. Shuttle xer has come up with some cool stuff that Im going to incorporate in my wagon. We are always sharing cool ideas.

    I saw this earlier, but I had to give props. Along time ago I was going to do something similar, but on a 510 wagon. Keep it up Shuttle_Xer.

    not yet. Im going to take some tomorrow when I take pics of the hydro trans for the topic i posted in the engine & drivetrain section. I changed my ride up a bit so I'll also post some more pics of my car in the members ride section too.
