  • About that Vibrant muffler idea, I've been wanting to do the same thing, in the stock location, but couldn't find the 2.5 inlet/outlet in flat black, only stainless. If you see that combination anywhere, let me know! otherwise, i'll be going with stainless I suppose.

Quick update: i keep blowing out oil pans -__- does anyone have a solution to this? the cars is a b16 from what i understand b series hang lower then the sohcs do. I have talked to a few VW guys they do "Pan Armor" where they weld steel plates to their oil pans i think im going to try that out this go around and see how it works if anyone has any better ideas they would be greatly appreciated. I need to find a way to raise the motor up but i dont know how to do it.
  • I'd weld a plate onto it and see how that holds up I got one on my trans pan but it's thin it's holding up fairly ok so far

i just saw that someone actually commented on this nothing really new going on I've bene fighting axel issues for a few months now but i finally got it all sorted out ill update it more soon
  • PopPopsGaragePopPopsGarage Council Member
Ended up going even lower since i last posted. I raised the motor and trans and built a bunch of custom goodies (i can go more into detail if people care). Now the car is to the point to where it hits the ground so often that i think its causing electricity and back feeding grounds (the only explanation that makes sense). i keep having crazy wiring issues so i bought a dual carb d15 (actual carbs not DPI) im going to swap that in because theres not much of a wire harness for those then ill be able to hopefully drive it again.
