Wagonist
Although I'm still envious of those with rt4wd wagons... my 1989 mitsubishi montero
'wagon' does the trick when need be.
Here's 'monty'
I swapped in this rear axle from a rolled 1995 montero with 79k miles that had rear locker and rear disks.
in the garage....
on the truck
I also swapped in the front hubs, calipers, booster, upper control arm etc. for a 'new'er ride
dual bouncy seats up front
Three rows of seating for the kids.
did the timing belt, cleaned the intake plenum, new intake/valve cover/etc. gaskets, new cam/crank seals, new belts/hoses, new plugs/wires/cap/rotor, re-cored 3 row rad, etc.....
sprayed the interior body panels with penetrating oil and undercoated with the same to slow down the salt-induced rusties
Don't get me wrong... I've still got my eyes open for a mint rt4wd.. but this will do!
