Yep.. Every other friday i go to the junkyard close by to my work just to see what's in inventory specially on the civic wagons. They are hard to come by and if they do have them you better wrench out good parts asap otherwise its like meat feeding to the voltures LOL..!! Give it a week and the darn thing is strip to the bone and sadly the yard scrap em. So what i do is every nuts and bolts, parts that are hard to find needs to be taken out and save or goodbye forever. But i dont keep it all to my self of coarse i sell it or trade.
  • :smug: Finally got the rally lights set up all working. Getting my rig ready for snowboarding season, so far following my to do list is working out good according to plan. Now if i can do the boosted ZC swap and get er tune I'm good to go :encouragement:..

  • I really want to start working on my engine so just to get things move'n again. I started to do something simple, paint my head cover. Didn't shave any of the markings, i just left it the way it is keeping it original. Didn't go with the wringkle red either just a semi gloss red and call it good. After it gets dry I'll sand the surface of the H symbol and make it bling a littel bit :encouragement:.

Thanks bro.. Its a project car in progress and I really enjoy the small stuff i do making it a little unique. It puts a smile in my face when people sees it and have the what the???? look in their face lol.!!
  • i fully support this. Is there anyway you could get some photos of how you mounted the bar up on the front? I'm in the process of making my own and am just looking at all the options on mounting. Love the light setup, thats pretty much exactly what i'll be doing with my PIAA lights. Thumbs up on this build.
  • i bet that wagon can really light up the road at night!!! I like it!!!!

Didn't really take long to mount the bull bar so i didn't have the chance to take pic. Ill jack it up This weekend and see if i can take pic on how i did it. I draw some illustration explaining how i did it. Hope you can understand it. Let me know if there's any question. Thanks again and hope it will help out.

If you know where to install the two plate that will hold a traction bars. That's where your going to mount brackets for bull bar.

    Thanks man... It's endless!!!!! :biggrin-new:
  • Great drawing man. I appreciate it. That is how i figured it was mounted up, same way the real bullbar was mounted. Looking forward to your continuing build!

I agree. Why do you suppose the maker (of at least one) of these bull bars packages so many individual mounting adapter kits? Or did you fab up some an adapter for the adapter?

In any case good job with the install and with the explanatory drawings!
  • Today i get to test the rally fogs on my bullbar. Did a little adjustment on the beam, alinged it more focus on the road not blinding other drivers. So foggy leaving for work @ 5am it was a perfect time to really test it. I'm very happy with it.

I believe there is a universal mount you can buy but i mod my own instead with some scrap metal i have laying around. Once i got it all figured out on how I'm going to mount it and set a game plan it wasn't too bad of a mod. It's a plus if you can weld but you can bolt it together just like how I draw it.
  • Getting back in track putting my ZC motor together and boosting it. Won't be running front mount intercooler set up. Found a welding shop in west Seattle that can mod the intercooler i want to use. Very excited and crossing my finger that everything works out good.
  • What parts are you using for your ZC build? I am in the process of getting the pieces together for my turbo build and don't really know what to choose. I was thinking Eagle rods and vitara pistons combo. ARP head bolts and ACL bearings.đ
    Your shuttle is awesome!
  • Thanks bro.. Yep on the zc build its just a regular overhaul type of build. You know new seal, gaskets, ARP head studs, new water and oil pump. Don't know much potential of this engine so Im keeping things simple for now. If this engine works out for me Ill buy another one and build it on the side and go all out with some nice internal parts. At least the car is already set up for it and the swap would be plug and play :)
  • Found a shop in West Seattle to do some aluminum welding for me. The shop was awesome specializing on crazy fab and you can't complain on how much he charge and the work he put down, now that's the type of shop im looking for. Now i can move on forward on this turbo build.

  • Been itching to put on my xxr rims for some time now and yesterday i found a tire shop than would install it. Yeah buddy!!! Discount tire won't do it and so other places i tried :( they all said there's a little stretch to it and company policy can't do so no go. Not far from my welder i found this tire shop and got it install quick mount and balance with new air valve coz mine didn't came with one. Only cost me $80 and others were charging me more.. No scratch on the rims and he was quick, overall im happy :encouragement: i will post pic.. Coming soon:

Cant decide at first where to mount it. Got two choices where to mount it at:
1st choise is right beside the shifter where everybody seems to mount theirs:

After some testing I decided to mount it on the side door. My drink will be out of the way when shifting and Its a cleaner look.

Heek you can mount a few in the back too if you want. $11.00 each is not bad for a nice folding cup holder :)

  • Where did you find that cup holder?
