I'll definitely let you know about the block off plate. Maybe we could trade something. I don't know that I'd be able to sell one outright because of the time involved in getting one of them made. Granted I'm still working out a few of the hangups so any future ones would go faster but it's been about 4 hours just on the shaping. Maybe I can use something other than epoxy for the filler. Something that'll hold up to heat better as I can only sand for about a minute or so on it with the belt sander before the friction builds up so much that it wants to melt the epoxy.
It would almost be worth it to get this one as perfect as I can and then make a silicone mold of it and then just pour the entire thing out of resin. Now there's a thought.
just LMK man, its about time someone starts making parts for these things lol.. I've been thinking about making some window visors out of sedan visors. Also me and trackedwagon have been talking about making a fenderflare mold or even fender molds. CF fenders anyone? lol
Oh and i just got these in the mail, look GREAT but SUUUUUCK at night. I couldnt even tell that my lights were on
Yep, I had some on my SHO, they came off as soon as I got home after some night time driving. Fortunately I was only a couple miles away and there was the occasional street light. I quickly learned to avoid anything that messes with headlight output.
If you're talking about the GT Styling covers, it's part number GT0719S or GT0721S not sure what the exact difference is. But you can still get em for $50ish new. Who knows, maybe after Brian's experience with them he'll let em go cheap =D Unless he's just gonna hang on to em for photo shoots.

Yeah they'll be put away for shoots and summer cruises during the day
On a side note to the covers, I've always been curious about the process for aluminum vapor coating. Hella does it with their black magic headlights. Black when there's no light and then silver when its lit up. I'm sure there's probably more to it than that, but that would be awesome to figure out.
Edit
Strike that, looks like it's just a divider in there that's black that causes the reflector to look black until the lights are on. Still. That would be something interesting to experiment with. Some thin metal shims that bisect the length of the light. Painted black. I do have a spare set of lights hanging around, worth an attempt at modding at least.
^sikdc2 no they can be bought just search for "VIP car trays" and that should get you in the right neighborhood. Lookin good Brian haven't talked to you in a min!!

Well a little update.. I think i lowered my car too much..
I bottomed out by exit 127 driving north on i5 and broke off part of my exhaust and my two rear hangers. I did a hasty repair with a bunjiecord but it melted so i threw the other on and was limping it home and it melted about 10 miles from my house so i said screw it and drug my exhaust the rest of the way home lol. I think ill probably mend it today with a coat hanger until i can get my hands on a welder
No such thing as too low, your exhaust was hanging to low, not the car.
Allthough, since I raised my Shuttle for about an Inch I'm kinda enjoying the "not so low"-life.
Handling is awesome, parts don't touch the pavement too much and the looks are allright too.
I like the mugens, you going to put them on the Wagon?
