Did you ever get those mirrors on? I have the Starlet knockoffs made by victory, looks like those are the Datsuns/toyota whatever they're saying they're for. Same height but the glass on those is a bit bigger. I'm debating ordering them myself, since proper Hondas are a damn near impossible find, but would like to see how they look on the car first.
Bummer, I'm gonna make one, if it doesn't turn out like total crap I might even post about it. How cleanly was the battery relocated? I'm considering that myself as well since I wanna move a bit of weight back there since it has a ZC swap.

it wasnt too easy lol, i tried to route it the cleanest way possible, my buddy helped a lot with it. We used a 2to1 powerblock with fuses and ran the starter and seatbelt wires into one port and ran the fuse box into the other port and of course the one port goes from the powerblock to the battery. Right now im in a trial and error stage with which fuses to use lol. I had 2 30A fuses but the one on the starter side popped. So i switched to two 80A fuses and again the starter side popped last night. Now im using two 100A fuses, we'll see how it goes lol. As for cleanliness on the relocate everything was routed to where itd be the least visible or not visible at all. Everything in the cabin is under the carpet and the battery is chilling in my trunk tucked up behind the seat on the passenger side. And i also went to walmart and bought a boat battery box to put my battery in.
Soooo... I tried to put the seats in last night aaaaand the brackets i have dont fit.. I should have known it wouldnt be that easy. Now i need to locate some rails and sliders that will fit >__<
You don't need to fuse the battery connection. It's supposed to be unfused. Especially the starter connection, it will draw 160amps sometimes when cranking. Just run thicker gauge wire to the starter lead and the fusebox and you'll be fine.

yeah im about to go get some 4 gage wire today and run straight wire to the fusebox and starter and splice into it and run a 60A fuse for the seatbelts because they were on two 30A fuses.. That was my only real main concern.
i bought a couple more things for the wagon this weekend ^_^
~ Clear JDM Stanley cornerlights
~ GTO Black headlight covers (not sure if i'll like them or not)
~ 12" JL w1 in a sealed box for stupid cheap
im going out to the field this week so this weekend ill be going to trackedwagons shop while my GF is at work and putting my seats in!! and probably the corners, covers, and my system
It must be nice to get a damn near mint condition wagon to start fixing up. Why is your hood not sitting flush!?! Not a fan at all. Wheels look good but how much did you spend on wheels/tires/alignment to get it to look like that? If you spent $500 plus on an inch of adjustment and "stancing" then that is stupid in my opinion. Really clean, but wish there was more actual restoring done.
Must have hood spacers or something, some people do that. Just longer bolts and some washers or something between where the hood attaches to the hinges. You should fix all those busted pictures on the first couple pages though.
Got the general disassembly of a drivers mirror done, filling shaping and smoothing to come to see how well I can manage a custom block off.
Its hood spacers that i started doing in 2008 on my del sol to lift my hood.. I had lifted it because i had purchased a K20Z3 bottom end and i was going to k swap it so i lifted the hood to get it ready to fit the K but i ended up selling the K because i was too expensive to put a K in the wagon. I just never dropped the hood back down because i liked the aggressive look of the lifted hood plus it actually helps release engine heat, now i cant put the hood down because my PWJDM intake is too big. The restoring on the body will be after i get my swap. Been thinking about having my fenders radiused instead of doing the J's racing fender flares. I've been debating on going with a darker blue for paint or just using the same OEM blue
I'd radius em. I don't like the look of add on flares at all. Going back to that inquiry regarding the fender mirrors. I said I was going to make a drivers block off plate myself. Don't have it entirely finished, but thought I'd show the progress so far. Reclaiming a donor mirror that I snagged when Killa and I went to the junk yard.
That looks sick man! I like the look of the J's flares but not of any of the others that I've seen on wagons. I can get a set of J's shipped to me for $400 and i know having mine radiused is super pricey.
Oh oh and as for the wheel setup my wheels were $1500, the tires on it are almost a year old with a good amount of tread left, and my alignment was only $200 and its lifetime warrantied through firestone
Yeah so far I'm pleased with how the block off plate is turning out. It's not terribly difficult to do either, just takes patience. The only power tool I used was a belt sander to just knock down the plastic and excess epoxy filler quick. Gotta watch out though, heat up the epoxy too much with the friction and it remelts and is nasty. I'll have a write up in my build thread on it eventually. Nab a drivers mirror out of a junk yard sometime and just diy. It's not absolutely perfect but unless you had it side by side with an actual block off I don't think you'd know.
That's sort of cool that they warranty alignment even with camber like that. Do they warranty based on the current setup or can you make modifications and then have them realign? There's a firestone here in town as well and if I can get that deal I'll gladly pay $200 up front if they'll realign me after I do some suspension work.
I guess with doing the flares you could always go back later and radius if you're wanting to throw the money at it.
Yeah theyll align it no matter what setup i want.. My buddy tracks his daily and has them realign his car after he tweaks it after track days. Its $150 for a lifetime and its $50 more if aftermarket parts are installed. It was $209 after tax.
Well if i do the J's flares i will have to cut out the old fender arch because they replace them with a more flares arch.
Id love to see a writeup on the blockoff, let me know if you make anymore bc id buy one lol

Sweet price on that.
I'll definitely let you know about the block off plate. Maybe we could trade something. I don't know that I'd be able to sell one outright because of the time involved in getting one of them made. Granted I'm still working out a few of the hangups so any future ones would go faster but it's been about 4 hours just on the shaping. Maybe I can use something other than epoxy for the filler. Something that'll hold up to heat better as I can only sand for about a minute or so on it with the belt sander before the friction builds up so much that it wants to melt the epoxy.
It would almost be worth it to get this one as perfect as I can and then make a silicone mold of it and then just pour the entire thing out of resin. Now there's a thought.

I try to help my buddy Benjamin sell those, he's the one that makes them. I love the lip it makes the car look soo much different.
I am super stoked to get both of them in!!
Yeah me and trackedwagon are going to do it next weekend, maybe i can learn how to weld next weekend LOL
