so i havent actually updated the wagon in a while just been rolling around waiting to get my camber kit so i can get these wheels on. well i got bored today and cleaned my whole house and did every piece of laundry then figured i would do something to the wagon so i put my paint skills to a slight test (seeing that i havent painted anything since i restored my RT centercaps when i first got the wagon) so i did this today out of pure boredom

and the finished product, three coats later
tested it on the front to see what it would look like, i actually like it alot plus they'll (did front and back) match the wheels when they go on until then they match my RT caps lol
also got a new antenna, my old one wasnt off a wagon and i hated how it looked! you can see where they drilled a hole for the old one
AND lastly i got a new fender, my old one was gunmetal and the new one is a tanish gray.. good thing about this one is this one is alot cleaner than the last and the last one had bondo on it which would have cracked when the fenders were rolled this one has no bondo!! WOOT!!!
and as many of you PNW guys know last night was HIN, well everyone that was supposed to go with me flaked so i cruised around all day yesterday and finally found myself in seattle so i thought i would take a couple pictures.. i took more but these are the only two i like, no clue why there is soo much flare on the lights oh well :cool:
hopefully soon i can get the camberkit and have a buddy roll my fenders and get some shots with the new wheels on!!!
well its starting to come together.. ordered my Skunk2 Proseries front camber kit yesterday morning (will hopefully be in saturday) and went and picked up a megan racing rear camberkit yesterday afternoon..
now all the wheels are sitting in my closet waiting on my front camberkit to come in and then ill be taking the wagon over to a buddies to have the fenders rolled!!! STOKED!!! i am soo close to getting these things on its killing me lol
thank you sir! i LOVE it, sooo many people were staring at me when i was on the freeway. im loving the attention i just hope it doesnt bring the wrong kind of attention..
i need to fix the rear camber asap.. i think ill take alot of camber out of the rear and roll/pull the rear fenders more so itll match the front
that is a sexy stance you got there lol. but like you said maybe less camber and more fender work. my old corollai had, had a similar stance like yours except myne were 15 inch
so i was asked to do a photoshoot on saturday, of course i agreed lol ::

got a little trophy for best in show (3 cars won best in show, i was the only japanese car and there were 200+ cars)!! its not HUGE but it was a free event so im not complaining lol
at the end of the show i asked my photographer to take a little picture that ive always wanted to do just never had the chance and from what ive been hearing it is going viral.. its actually HCWs cover photo on the FB page! :encouragement:
then got home and washed the sand out of every nook and cranny on the wagon then put on my little DA9 lip, it looks like a mini chargespeed lip to me lol
i might hold off on doing much of anything to it for a little bit due to me having to buy a $300 suit for my best friends wedding that i will be going to in october and getting my dog fixed, chipped, and groomed.
those are some nice shot. thats cool that they had the meet on the beach thats bad ass,and congrats on the trophy the only thing that matters is that you got 1 of 3 lol
haha yeah man i was stoked when i got the trophy, i was walking away from my car and one of my friends yelled at me saying i won best in show and i ran back to my car hellerrrr excited lol..

but i forgot until my mom text me that she mailed out my old 97 del sol foglights and they are at the post office waiting on me!! going to retrofit them on the wagon! STOKED!!!

did a little work to the rear of my car.. i absolutely hated the rear camber so i took ALOT of camber out of the rear and its almost even with the front, maybe -1 degree more but it looks soooooooooo much better. now i just need to pull out the rear fenders a little more so i can even it out but here is how she looks
so yesterday while i was at work on my lunch i was calling around getting prices on alignments and FINALLY located a les schwab in TUMWATER that said they would be able to get me in their bay (i told them exactly how low my car was). well when i get there the guy looks at my car and said i was too low and wont fit over their drive on alignment rack, so i argued with him back and forth that i was told i can fit with almost 3 inches of clearance when he said i need almost 4 (needless to say his desk clerk is a fkn retard).. then we noticed i had wire sticking out of my tire, so i went on the hunt for some more 205/40/16's.. theeeeeeeeeen i was coming off the I-5 on Martin Way (exit 109) in Lacey aaaaaaaaand had a blowout.. somehow the 3 week old tires wore down like they were years old.. had wire poking out in just one area of the tire (where the blowout was) so i was like well sh!t it was the alignment and my camber (i was on my way to get an alignment). but then i came to the realization that my tires are stretched and if it was alignment and camber wear that it would have been on the far outside as well which it wasnt... sooooo im having some rubbing issues somewhere..
the guys at discount tire were nice enough to locate a 14" wheel and throw a 80sidewall tire on it to get me rolling again for no charge so i bought 2 khumo ecsta's off of them to replace both fronts since im sure the driverside has a rubbing issue as well (tire wasnt cut anywhere, i definately inspected it)
so after hours of searching for somewhere that would stretch my tires on and coming up with no luck i called a buddy of mine, ken, and he said he just had his alignment done and got new tires a few days ago (he's running 16x8 +/-0 front and 16x10 +/-0 rear on a 1990 civic hatch) so it looks like today ill be driving all the way up to Auburn to get my tires mounted and my alignment done -_-
this was supposed to be a $80 alignment yesterday that turned into a $150 tire purchase (for 2) and today will be a $30 tire mounting and balancing and $80 alignment.. in a FML mood right now
oh how i hate when people do that just to get customers in and then when it comes down to it they say it cant be done.its happen to me 2 times befor and my other buddy 3 times lol...if its not one thing its another thats how it usually goes lol
it really frustrates me because i was supposed to buy billboards arm rest and now i cant afford it
but everything is okay now. $160 for two tires at discount then $183 on alignment, mounting and balancing tires, new lug stud, wheel locks and lug lock at les schwab. kind of sucks because im rolling on federal 595's on the front and khumo ecsta's on the rear.. i put the khumos on the rear because they have more poke than the fed's do.. so im going to have to get two more khumo's eventually so everything will match because my OCD is going to kill me about that until i fix it lol..
FINALLY got the my company vinyl made for the wagon!!!
getting my business liscence soon and going to start investing in a booth to set up for car shows so i can sell t-shirts, hoodies, and vinyls for starters. hopefully can get all of that done during the winter so i will be ready for next summer!!

~ shuttle midwing
~ volvo fender mirrors with honda access blockoff plates
~ curb feelers
~ J's racing fender flares (talked to a distributor and he can order me some)
~ poly bushing kit
~ bigger sway bars
~ better traction bar
~ aaaaaaaaaaaaand the biggest thing on my list that i want to at least get in my posession, full K20Z3 and hopefully mated to a CRV 5 speed trans and the CRV rear diff
Freakin awsome build just finished reading it all I've wanted to get some wheels like that they make your wagon look more aggressive imo looking forward to more progress

hopefully i can get some of the plans i want done during the winter but i have been contemplating the swap lately.. either the K20Z3 or saying fk it and going with a J37A
yeah andy ive always been a HUGE B series fan but im looking more towards the future with the build seeing that parts for a K or J will be easier to find later on down the road than a B simply because of age, yes there will always be parts out there but not as vast and easy to find as the newer engines.. that and well finding a manual awd CRV B20 trans wouldnt be an easy task but getting a manual CRV K series trans and rear diff will be alot easier as well as a J series trans and rear diff from the TL awd. plus the J37A has 305hp stock and the K20Z3 responds to mods soo well (a friend of mine has a Z3 in his 99hatch with boltons and a tune that makes 225whp)

well everything came in!!
cutting up the brand new Skunk2 ProSeries Camberkit also had to cut the rear camberkit to add more camber (forgot to snap a picture)
