Took it out for a lil test run after foolin with it a bit. I did a lil 2nd gear pull to see what my A/F's are doin and much to my suprise they are keepin in the high 10's low 11's and its making awsome power enough to spin the tires in a 2nd gear roll. i didnt run it past 6k but its got much more left in it i know.

    Nice Matt.

So did you find that missing shop rag?
  • turbo_tegturbo_teg Council Member
haha it was a loose charge pipe it hauls ass now.

LOL the kid i sold my turbo CRX to a couple of years ago did that. broke all the fins on the inducer side. he taped a rag where you would normally put a filter, i guess turbos need more flow than a shop rag can provide LOL   he also ran the turbo with a hole in the oil line, turbos love being starved. i imagine it turned bright red before it completely seized. common sense is a motha f'r

How did you go about welding the coupler?? Do you have any pics?

    Thanks.

edit// nevermind, just saw a post of the welded coupler. Thanks.
  • You are going to love driving it in 4wd. I have so much fun ripping around in my 4wd Turbo Hatch, I just cain't wait till it gets warmer out to get some 1st gear traction.

yeah shes long gone finally realized the wagon is what its all about. Anyone that ever asks me about swapping hatches or CRXs i tell them dont waste yer time buy a wagon.
  • True about the wagons, but the fact that you put it together and did it is impressive!!

Why would you say that? Did it just take to long, or to much $ ? I love impressing people with my 4wd Hatch.

iono in the end its still a crx..... tons of them out there that are modded to hell and back. theres no other feeling better than winning an auto X event in a wagon, out launching about anything on the street, whoopin up on cars it shouldnt be beating, and still have room to put a full swap in the back and drive it all winter long its the best DD honda ever IMO.

I see where are coming from. I never payed any attention to the Wagon before, but now they are growing on me. I might have to go buy one. I thought if anything happened to my Hatch, I might swap the engine/turbo into a rt4wd.
